What is everyone using for the metallic black detail paint on this kit? I am not a huge fan of the more silver look and have seen some that have been done with a real nice satin black. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Why make someone go through the trouble of installing an LED if it's not going to be functional? I don't agree with requiring the light but I say if it is to stay, might as well keep the verbiage as-is. Personally, I believe the LED portion should be optional altogether. Just my two cents. I'm conflicted on which way to face the sliding stock on the DT blaster rifle. Seems as though reference photos show instances of the butt stock pointing both up and down but I wanted to be sure before completing my build. Didn't see any mention of the shoulder ammo pouches or grenades/grenade belt. Is that something that is going to be part of the specialist variant? EDIT: Nevermind, just found the discussion post for the variants... One thing I am trying to figure out, though, is whether or not any of the standard Death Troopers do NOT have the rangefinder on their helmets, and will that be a requirement for basic approval?

If I'm doing black on the traps and tears, is it REQUIRED to paint them? I put some satin black on there and it's not even noticeable. It says "may be painted or decals" vice "MUST be." I'm using mirrored lenses, silver frown and vocoder so didn't want to go with gray on those areas as I think it'd look silly.
