  1. Remember the shins of the AM armor are backwards, so you have to mod it so it'll fit correctly.
  2. Cool. You've got it all together, but you need to change out the knee plate to the other one.
  3. Sweet! Get this done! (And my helmet )
  4. Yep. We're now up to 5 digit numbers, so you'll have quite a few to choose from! -iz
  5. Try rustoleum professional gloss black paint. That gives an awesome shine and lasts forever. It also may be a case of you not putting on a thick enough coat, or enough light coats in rapid succession. -iz
  6. I don't think it's written in the CRL to be a helmet-less character, but I'd fully support it as in the comics he doesn't wear his helmet half the time. Just be sure you have the helmet as part of the costume... (Mental note of CRL option to be updated.) -iz
  7. Oooh... Armor... Let us know if we can answer questions! -iz
  8. Interesting point on the side of the fish hook, we'll have to make CRL changes. You can clearly see green lines above the snout, but the back traps (crown indents) are just that. Black. The visor bolts aren't green, however. They're actually a gray with a bit of a blue tone to it. It'll be easier when the images are up for the CRL, but right now it really is important for people making this costume to closely inspect the reference material. -iz
  9. Alright, get rid of the gray indent stickers in the back and paint those indents black, per the visual references. Also the gray and black striping above the snout needs to be black and dark green. I also need to look into the fish hook detailing, that seems a bit off, but Scouts haven't ever really been my focus. -iz
  10. Looks like it would probably be troopable. I'd cut down on the amount of white showing to make the weathering look a bit more natural. -iz
  11. Something seemed off, and I just figured it out, sorry. The detailing on the helmet should be a darker gray or just removed entirely so the helmet is all black. -iz
  12. Wouldn't hurt to try and make the bund a bit darker, and yeah, you'll need the holster. -iz
  13. In my opinion, Whatever it looks like in natural lighting, is what he color is considered. (In your case Black) The flash on cameras can play tricks by bringing out the underlying colors (Often makes blacks look purple, red or blue. This is the first time I've seen green, but it's not surprising.). -iz
  14. Until the next DL takes over, things will be a gradual change, and I can pretty much guarantee that nothing drastic will be changing on the base requirements. Base requirements in my eyes are just that: BASE requirements. Most of the minute detailing and bells and whistles will be reserved for the Specialist program. I'm not fond of the "Lancer" now required stance that BSN has made, if the armor is of good quality, fits well and is recognizable as the character to the average person then that is what I feel base requirements should be, and from previous discussions the detachment has had; I know most of the members in our detachment feel the same way. As far as the markings, Black fishhook, black lines above the visor and a dark green/black stripe pattern over the snout. -iz
  15. Just because someone does an art piece with them, doesn't mean they will automatically become required... Of course if someone does an art piece that supports what the game shows more than regular scouts, the option to match the white armor could also be removed entirely. The CRL is what it is, because that's what we can see. We can assume higher levels of detail for the specialist program based on similar units, but the base standards should always stay with what can be seen unless it's something that doesn't quite make sense to be missing (i.e. All troopers in SWG were missing holsters, so we made the Scout boot holster required even though it's not shown. Come on, you have to hold a blaster somewhere!) -iz
  16. I believe Dart used a satin Emerald green for his swampy paint... Right now, what it says in the CRL are what you go by. We may be changing some minor things, but I don't expect any drastic changes like BSN made to the CRL. The video game shots don't show any particular sole type for the boot. so just choose a good looking black soled boot to work with and you'll be good! -iz
  17. I would go with the "Battle for the Golden Sun" version. It's the only version we have a 360 of the entire suit. -iz
  18. izzi

    Armor type?

You have to remember that the gold in the art for the Elite Nova was dimly lit, so the gold would seem darker than it actually would be in a fully lit room. -iz
  19. That's a sweet looking kit. Fits you well. Let us know when it gets approved so we can give you full TX access! -iz
