  1. Thanks for all the work on this! Here are the updated pics:
  2. Hi! Thanks for all the input! I've weathered the chords with some mud and i've taken a pic of the reds. Pic levels have been adjusted to match how the reds look like in person as my camera seems to like to adjust to make the red pop out too much. Also of note is the round cartridge butt on the pistol should be painted silver as well.
  3. Re: Ropes Definitely red, not dark red. But weathered. Re: Scarf It might be the settings on my camera but the scarf is a deep red but i don't think it should be a dark red. But will look for a darker one if necessary. Re: weathering It might not be showing up as much, again due to camera settings but i can weather it some more. Thanks!
  4. All noted! I did try to match the weathering i the reference pics. It's mostly on the pants, boots, grenades. What i did forget to weather are the ropes. Perhaps that's why it looks too clean still? I can't recall if there was a scene of Val in MT without the helmet...hair could be optional, but it's just so iconic of the character and wigs are easy to obtain anyway.
  5. Attached the telemetry unit and weathered it up. Calling this done:
  6. A lot of them also use the Rogue one TK/ST/DT gloves. Without the velcro at the back for the hand plates though
  7. Hi All! I've finally finished my Mud Trooper build so i thought i'd share the process. To start, we had to find one real world item on the costume to base measurements off of. And we used the shoulder buckles as mine are cast from original: Like almost everyone, we thought that the base helmet was a Veers/AT-ST/snow trooper helmet, but as we compared it to the reference buckle and pics ofcourse, it was obvious that the mud helmet was shorter and the face opening smaller. Helmet was modelled in Fusion 360, 3d printed. A waste mold was made and a plaster master was cast and modified to the correct shape. Armor was sculpted by modifying plaster casts of our existing Inferno Squad/R1TK chests, Shoretrooper back and shins, DT shoulders. All were modified based on the buckle as reference. We also designed a way for the collar to lock into place: The plaster masters were then cleaned up and master molds were made. Armor was then cast in black flexible fiberglass. Test fitting after painting and rigging: Mask can be held in place by placing magnets inside the helmet and sticking the steel latches to them Here it is partially finished. Still need to attach the telemetry unit and muddy everything up My wife in the "Val" configuration.
  8. Hi! Thought i'd share pics of my build as well. Still need to muddy it up though My wife's Val, in case variants are to be included
  9. Undersuit is indeed hot, but not as hot as vader. Also a lot of mesh, the central abdominal panel is mesh and the non-ribbed parts are sweat wicking jersey material. I thought i'd post my finished DT:
  10. Would like to chime in as well. Could the gasket shorts be bumped up to a level 2? Those would be difficult and very expensive to make...and will not be comfortable.
  11. Ribbed neoprene undersuit with integrated stretch vinyl / faux leather neck seal and gaskets as well as the boot covers. Picture of the suit below is our final premium prototype. All ribbing on the neoprene and faux leather are stitched individually. Neck seal and gaskets also have embedded chord to give more shape to the ribbing. Ab section had internal drawstrings to help tighten it to your body.
  12. Finally finished the prototype set. This is the regular sized version. A tall version is in the works with longer biceps, forearms, and shins. Will be launching soon. Production starts in January. In the Pics i am 5'9 barefoot. Short and husky Deathtrooper: Helmet: I have to find a more opaque lens. Any suggestions? Also, is the death trooper lens bubbled or flat?
