I would agree that the price between that ready to wear outfit and Scootch's kit (once completed) would probably end up being the same amount.
I've bought kits from Scootch several times within the last couple of years. I'm very pleased with his professionalism and quality of work.
I think you look great. What kit is that? Looks like the Kevin's femtrooper chest, back, abs and butt plate. Its hard to tell with the black armor but do both of those legs have sniper plates on the knees?
I agree, Novus works great. I've also used this Meguiars scratch remover.
Here is an example of the shine I got using the Meguiars. The paint job is a rattle can Rustoleum High Performance gloss black.
This weekend my garrison had two days of trooping. One of the days we got to troop at a special screening Return of the Jedi. One of the posters for an independent movie was entitled "These Amazing Shadows". What an awesome title for a film. I happened to be wearing my TX to that troop so of course I had to take a picture with the poster
