  1. Thanks for the feedback. I won't add anything more for the time being, since I don't have my aldhani trooper approved yet, but once I have it I might come back to this discussion to see if we can add it as an option for the CRL. In my opinion, they are army troopers. We can see them playing cards while on duty, they are issue order for cleaning the Dhanis cult place (and we see them start doing it so). And we even hear a discussion with Lt Gorn, where he is ordering them to paint the hangar. I think the "waitress" function for the commander is in line with the function we see on the screen. Functions that a stationed garrison of army troopers can certainly perform. But that's my view.
  2. Hi, for me there are 2 troopers in scenes with an E-11 (I might be wrong) First the guard in the elevator, pictures here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/D4D7jfaqYCArQfXU9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/qCj78PkqbmLMb5Hs8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/9nBJtHdgHUk19XN37 The other is the corporal with a mustache when it goes down to the vault. I don't have pictures of that one in High definition (I would need to capture them), but on a quick YouTube video I managed to capture this one: Anyway, also the GML option makes sense, but in my view, if there are 2 troopers with E-11 in the scenes we can include them on the CRL.
  3. Thanks for answering: The main issue I see is that the back is not well seen during the scenes, but I think that is only in the front. I tried to replicate the outfit using the belt and some magnets to keep the apron in place. I think an additional accessory for the textile full option would be nice. If you shall need any help, if I get my validation I would be happy to work on it.
  4. Hi, it has been a while since I was here, but now, with a possible future validation of my Imperial Army Trooper, I was wondering if you have ever considered adding the apron/white gloves version to the CRL or as optional accessories. I've already tried it in Celebration London and despite crossing many people who didn't catch it, it was a nice touch for the IOC cocktails over London. I think it would be a nice option if you want to follow Commandant Jayhold Beehaz around in conventions or similar troopings. We can also add the tray with glasses, or just a tray. I'm referring to these troopers: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipPt0vCD6wyfvfd-a0US67bszoDkxrsIHYF7ZljzG06TvmEFf6pE3f9p-ALLawt_qA/photo/AF1QipNNUUjCBFhh2IwWmNg-xMKFlqy_TLlPi-vc2XwY?key=OWRZRUNWM2dSMnY1cEw3OExEUWNrTW5femZiLVpn https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipPt0vCD6wyfvfd-a0US67bszoDkxrsIHYF7ZljzG06TvmEFf6pE3f9p-ALLawt_qA/photo/AF1QipN7r9xa8qHkA0fP52Mlv-rkcO3MtVdZ30hob4dP?key=OWRZRUNWM2dSMnY1cEw3OExEUWNrTW5femZiLVpn https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipPt0vCD6wyfvfd-a0US67bszoDkxrsIHYF7ZljzG06TvmEFf6pE3f9p-ALLawt_qA/photo/AF1QipPEVhZDVxqyx0k1xxwoysOrBP36J8WN5kTmD8b9?key=OWRZRUNWM2dSMnY1cEw3OExEUWNrTW5femZiLVpn https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipPt0vCD6wyfvfd-a0US67bszoDkxrsIHYF7ZljzG06TvmEFf6pE3f9p-ALLawt_qA/photo/AF1QipNXEgDXIFvOi0BuZIrTWcxhZaXPQ5y9Q8WhuEYM?key=OWRZRUNWM2dSMnY1cEw3OExEUWNrTW5femZiLVpn
  5. Hi, long time not being there. But I'll be trying to validate my andor trooper soon, so I was wondering if there is any update about the E-11?
  6. Wow, great work in the Tunic! I would say that indeed, while colors on the overall uniform might variate between members, a members should aim to have the same color in all his uniform (use the same fabric and same (coloring). For me it is the same situation as with the "Line officers" in the IOC. Where you are asked to have consistency between the hat, vest and pants, but then there are so many shades of green for the line officers depending on the maker. From @bubuc44 part and myself, our tailor has started to create the patterns and she will be working in @bubuc44 uniform shortly. Mine will come probably early in 2023. For what I see in the discussion, everything matches what we have seen and identified. And I agree that size and measures of pockets should be proportional to the overall costume fit in the member. So not giving exact measures I think is good. For the lines regarding rank (by the way in the IOC we argued that one line could be for lance corporal and two for corporal), I think you are right in your last post @TeaJay. Maybe we can put something like this: Another 2 things related to CRL discussion and versions. First, related to CRL accessories to this trooper version (I guess we might discuss them in the end). But are we looking into having things as the "headphones" as optional accessories? And if so, I guess they would be only for the corporal (2 bars) since is the only one with "headphones" seen on Andor. Second, as we approach the last 2 episodes, I think we'll be seeing the Ferrix black variant of the costume. My guess is that it would be another CRL discussion, right? I think the costumes would be quite similar apart from the color, so the Ferrix CRL could get a lot from our current CRL. Sorry for this two last 'off topic" questions. But since it is the first time in special ops, with CRL, I was just wondering how we deal with these things here.
  7. You are absolutely right, and with the evidence that you share, I agree with your suggestion. I also agree that the 6 lines shouldn't be on lvl 2. In the end with the screen evidence, it is clear there were different number of stiches. Great work! Here is the modified version with the 5, 7 and 8 Hat, Olive - Version 2 Fabric is a medium weight suiting material of olive green. matches the tunic and pants. Base of the hat is conical, with a crown about 4" (101.6mm) tall. Front and rear “flaps” overlap on the sides and are about 4" (101.6mm) high. Front bill extends 3" (76mm) down, decorated with (5), (6), (7) or (8) concentric stitches. An Imperial Code Disk may be is positioned in the center of the front vertical “flap,” but is not required. OPTIONAL Level two certification Rear flap is slightly lower than the crown heigh (lees than 4") Disks do not feature a notch or groove details.
  8. They might not be the same ones, but in the trailer and looking at the Ferrix trooper, they look dark green (specially in the troopers on the center) :
  9. I agree with the Helmet proposed text. And I agree with the lvl 1 and lvl2 interpretation for the stripe and telemetry units . For me we can move to the googles.
  10. I would say that for the color of the armor is defiantly a very dark grey, that it variates based on illumination but also depending if it is "wet" by the rain or not. I mean you can clearly see here a much dark green: And here a much black armor (since these troopers had to wait under the rain, you can see that their vest is also darker): Also if we look at the same trooper but in the black version (Ferrix), we can see that the armor is black, but it definitely looks different from the Aldhani version we are discussing here (for example the straps are completely black). We'll have to wait to see them in action and have more references, but right now my guess is that while the Aldhani looks like a dark green version (probably linked with the imperial army), on Ferrix they are linked with the Stormtrooper corps (and thus the black of the officers and the troopers). So if this is the case, I would say that the armor should definitely be a dark green rather than black : Regarding the white strap, I believe @TeaJay point out an important thing with the black gloss line around the white and that @tipperaryred is right and it might have been a decal (it really shines a lot in these shots): And finally for the goggles in the helmet, I think they are glue since in this picture you can see a white/grey thing behind the goggles stripe, which for me seems like the point in which the stripe was glue into the helmet: Going back to the helmet discussion, and to stay on target, I really like the wording in the helmet proposition about " color match the armor" to solve the problem about the armor color. Then we can specify the color in the armor, and with luck we can have more feedback before doing so. On my side I'm quite happy with the proposition as it is, and I believe the helmet part (Helmet Change Log 1.2 ) is ok to go. If we want to introduce the hat version, I would say that based on the army trooper hat, we can go for something like: Hat, Olive - Version 2 Fabric is a medium weight suiting material of olive green. matches the tunic and pants. Base of the hat is conical, with a crown about 4" (101.6mm) tall. Front and rear “flaps” overlap on the sides and are about 4" (101.6mm) high. Front bill extends 3" (76mm) down, decorated with (5) (6) or (7) concentric stitches. An Imperial Code Disk may be is positioned in the center of the front vertical “flap,” but is not required. OPTIONAL Level two certification Rear flap is slightly lower than the crown heigh (lees than 4") Disks do not feature a notch or groove details.
  11. Here some more references for the lower chest (if you want more I have a complete google album here). For me it looks like a red and white buttons on the inside of the plate (red on the left and white on the right), along a silver/white one on the right of the plate.
  12. Hi! So as we were pointing out in the IOC discussion, I will say that there are 3 main versions with variants of the army trooper we see in Andor: Army trooper- Soldier, lance corporal (1 stripe) and corporal (2 stripes). Also there is a kind of "butler" version that we see. Army trooper with armor- Soldier, and lance corporal (1 stripe) Army trooper with armor and helmet-Soldier Regarding the soft part, with our tailor here in France we came out with these schemes (that @fb501 already confirmed) Vest front: Vest back: Pants:
