  1. Thanks to the Anovos Statue we already know the height of the short inner rib. We also have photos of screen used armor to confirm this is correct. We can also see the top of the tall ribs in the upper corners of the Abdominal Plate on the screen used armor. I believe the original designer Glyn Dillon shortened the inner ribs to help create more clearance for the Chest Plate. Also the top of the tall ribs have a 45 degree bevel. So in conclusion; We know the height of the short inner rib from the Anovos Statue and the height of the tall outer ribs by scaling photos screen used armor. This all gives us a really good idea of what the Abdominal/Chest plate overlap area looks like underneath. We also have some confirmation from this Lucasfilm licensed HotToys figure, albeit a little shorter than the real thing. You might also notice the ribbed V-Poncho attached to the armor mid-section. That is actually how it was on the screen used armor, although it was attached to the outside of the armor with velcro, not the inside. Which is what this whole upper area of the Abdominal Plate will be needed for. Side Note: I believe this V-Poncho was only added to the costume to coverup the suspenders holding up the armor mid-section. With this update we have now addressed both of the two main overlapping areas of concern using all possible information and references available. Jintalol has already captured the Bicep/Shoulder Bell overlap perfectly.
  2. For those not yet aware I’m basing this discovery on photos of screen used armor, as well as several Lucasfilm licensed action figures, statues, ect. Every single example I can find in-fact. Remember Lucasfilm does 3D scans of characters in costume then supplies them directly to companies like Hasbro for creating action figures and such. Anovos would have also received the same 3D scans for creating these promotional statues for the release of Rogue One, not to mention the Death Trooper armor prototype they advertised but never produced. This is all we can see of the Kidney plate on the Anovos statue which Jintalol has replicated very accurately! 👌 However we know there is another trapezoidal shape at the top of the kidney plate, hidden under the backplate overlap. It tapers outwards because we can see it on the screen used armor. There is also a wider groove separating this hidden trapezoid overlap from the rest of the kidney plate. This same shape from the Helmet also appears to be on the hidden trapezoid. Every example I can find of this trapezoid overlap exposed has this exact detail on the right side. There are even more examples of this but I will not post them all here. You can also see the angle of the trapezoid aligns with the grooves on the upper back plate in every example. So we use the grooves on the Anovos statue as a reference angle. Anyways this is one of the main constructive criticisms I had for this armor if you can even call it that, and even then it was only due to a lack of information. Which I was well prepared with because I had already done my research and was in contact with another owner of one of these Anovos statues for many years prior to this. His main concern that prevented him from creating armor with it was these unseen overlapping areas. Jintalol has already captured any details in the Bicep/Shoulder Bell overlap, and the Abdomen/Chest overlap perfectly which were the only other two overlapping areas of concern.
  3. This is the most screen accurate Death Trooper body armor I have seen yet! Rogue One came out in 2016, so it’s been almost 10 years now but this armor looks totally worth the wait! This actually looks even better than the Anovos armor that never happened. But I am very happy Anovos made those statues, amazing reference source! For years I was hoping someone would make ABS armor using that as a reference. And you did an incredible job!
  4. Steve There are several vendors for Armor & Helmets, as well as Blasters & Accessories. I have a list of everything needed for regular Death Trooper or Specialist, you should message so me so we can chat about it. Our Canadian Garrison actually has an amazing Krennic currently in the works and we're looking for more people to join the Death Trooper Squad, We need more Deathtroopers! Please check out this thread on our Garrison forum: http://501st.ca/foru...hp?topic=1826.0 Looking forward to receiving your message -Henry
