  1. If I was about to add it I would definitely go for an easy-removeable system like that yea. I will probably make it someday with electronics/light (FUN just like my compad ) and wear it sometimes (flexibility, choice.. that's cool indeed ^^) but it really doesn't feel like this is a " must have " item.. It may be the point for Del to carry Heavy-Heavy Gear but well.. I think it's also nice to draw a difference between JRS / Spec-Ops and see a voluntary no-chest box gear Just like here on this very 1st trailer ! (And yea we all know it was still WIP and that they added stuff later in new trailers and in the game itself but that's not the point here sergeant ) In short, I mean this is just fine like that, pretty balanced/harmonious
  2. Thank youu !! Here is a little something already though as I'm dying myself waiting for my 5 boxes belt paint to cure at the moment xD.. TD (with invisible attachement system) / Thigh box are OK - Still need to weather the DLT scope/add silver details, I painted the red marking this morning (by the way, this part of the scope has been 3d-printed and so it's That part which needed that much "hand-work") - I should also correct a few "weathering" spots on the DLT + erase useless reference/part numbers engraved here and there. Note : Concercing the scope, the part on the left is obviously a little "different" (but close !!) in shape from the on-sceen design BUT it's just because it's a real functional scope ^^ I will try to add a lense inside the 3d-printed part And here is what I'm waiting for endlessly xD Silver coat before black to allow silver weathering as usual As I said earlier here, I did the same to the Chest Armor, Thigh box & TD sharing a pic also under that.. (couldn't do that process for helmet as it has been vacuum formed, but I still applied a light weathering to it) When I'll be done I may write a laaaaarge post where I explain in depth everything I did and why some stuff took a lot of time thanks for your support all ! PS : Already trooped 3 days in a row (TLJ promotion) with the DLT and it's absolutely amazing ! The fact that it's a "real" MG-34 copy gives it a quite pleasing feeling ..even if it was still full-black/not weathered at this moment (just like the parts pic shown previously) PSS : Concerning the DLT paint. I've decided to go for a regular RAL 9005 black. Why ? It indeed appears and, APPEARS dark grey in game but BUT. I have to say, when you compare the different "black" shades in game, you can see, when the character is "exposed to the sun" that there is no big difference between Armor / Riffle blacks.. DLT just matches the armor actually. And well, Battlefront II is still a game, it's our work to adapt its visual references to reality. I would say that, as a Spec-Op squad, it wouldn't be surprising that every single stuff they wear/carry with them is painted with the colour that will reflect the less light possible ! (stealth mission / camo) I will certainly expose my point with screens a little later but well.. I think I shouldn't have to xD
  3. Thank you very much Oh well yea I had it on Amazon but I just checked it and it's indeed out of stock .. x_x So I really don't know if they will put it back somedays or not.. I'm sorry Thank you ! Had it from Jim Tripon on Facebook Update : Announcing I'm almost done. The two last elements I'm currently finishing are : DLT scope paint (unlike the DLT itself the scope needed extra details to be hand-sculpted so it took time) + 5 boxes belt paint (had to shorten it so, cut symmetrically at different spots and then glued back every parts together..sanded A LOT.. so yea took MUCHHHH time also..) Also, I decided to leave the tactical vest webbing as it is for now. Will replace with a leather webbing a bit later. I find all the rest accurate enough to allow myself that extra-time Precising I'm going with a no-Chest-Box version. I guess it suits Spec-Ops the most (right ? ;D) See you hopefully with a nice-looking Photo-Finish
  4. Oh, Hello there *enthusiasm intensifies*
  5. I think you got me wrong or mistaken my intentions that were a galaxy away from being cold, severe or whatever toxic behavior.. To be clear : As usual I'm only telling my opinion, I'm not deciding in place of any Spec Ops Staff. I'm not imposing anything by informing what are the most logical dimensions of the straps. I've worked on it, measured 3d files, some others too, and the staff will most likely agree with what seems logical and coherent. I obviously agree with you dimensions shouldn't be written in basic level 1 and agree that we will never have the final word on anything. Numbers indicated on This topic are, IN my opinion only early indications to make it clear for everyone, it's basically what I've written word for word in the CRL discussion topic where I explained everything with screens etc. Now, I don't really understand where you see the 1.5" for the Ammo Vest waist strap (upper leather strip on your screen).. No dimension are indicated nowhere concerning this, the only info written on the CRL are : - one piece 5 boxes belt attached to 1.5" strip over officer belt - 1.5" strip for thigh box strapping So yea, same 1.5" dimension for thigh box leather strip AND one piece 5 boxes belt attachement (invisible on your screen as it's OVER the officer belt and Thermal Detonator held to it, is hiding it) but there is absolutely no mention of any dimension for the waist strip (upper strip on your screen and, again, concerning the Ammo Vest) But well, anyway, I will indeed stay away from these discussions now.
  6. I don't think numbers are here to force anyone making it the exact dimensions, it's just a scaling info so no one will do crazy stuff. Also, not any staff member will do hard calculations on your approval pics to determine the exact dimension you used, so you can choose whatever dimension you like, if it's coherent and scaled as seen on reference pics we've got, I think it's good. Also, depending on your body weight, you can obviously choose to make vary straps size so it's "scaled" to yourself Concerning the dimensions on your screen : - Upper one (ammo vest) : 1" - Middle one (officer belt) : 2" - Thigh box strip : 1.5" These are the most logical and "scaled" options for a majority of people
  7. Update : - Received compad / boots / gloves and fixed my helmet details - Crafted/ Sewn the right Ammo Vest pouche - Accurate TD + scout belt *in production* - DLT-19X in production, will be sent friday, will have it next week (Belgium is not too far away from France ) - New scout pouches incoming - Ammo Vest special buckles and other accurate stuff incoming - Currently repainting my armor, should be done soon - Sent my first pics to Darth Emphatic (new mail in your inbox Darth ! ) Looks like we're close ?
  8. Here is what I've done today (among other stuff), managed to craft the "pouches" to fill the M4 slots of the Ammo Vest. Just over these, I used TK drop boxes that I resized a bit (so it's as accurate as possible) and painted glossy black. Satisfied by the result Tomorrow I will try to craft/sew the little pouche that is held on the right of the vest. I could keep the AR-15 pouche but I don't like it to keep it while I know this is not what is actually used xD As I said I'm also working on modding my helmet to make it more accurate. .. Step by step .. See you for the next update !
  9. As discussed with Dorothy, I'm awaiting (lengthily and endlessly) for my last elements to arrive home. I should be done arround the beginning of December. Still waiting for a prop maker to finalize and send me his ACCURATE version of the thermal detonator + one piece 5belt boxes belt. Now if I can start posting pics of what I already have and that is definitely ok, I can do that yes. Will start tomorrow, or.. in a couple of hours now I guess (it's 3:05 am in France currently, unfortunately got to sleep a little) PS : I should receive some stuff next week so I should be able to update quickly. (normally ?) PSS : Concerning the DLT-19x, I can tell you it should arrive around the 11th of December. (but well, as it's a real MG-34 copy, entirely functional [no laser or bullet shooting unfortunately], with a real scope I guess it's worth waiting) PSSS : No idea when I'll receive the ----------------------> DEL MEEKO ACCURATE <----------------------------- TD + 5boxes belt. But again, worth waiting I guess (only if early won't outclass quality)
  10. Hi, thank you ! The flight suit comes from Jim Tripon, you can find him and message him on Facebook, you're welcome
  11. Update ! DLT-19X ordered and will arrive arround the beginning of December soo --------------> *incomming*
  12. Yes ROTJ grooved can go level 2, when I wrote that, it was just to let know people it was THAT belt he was wearing, not saying it should be required for approval
  13. It's an interesting debate.. Del is a unique character, so actually we can also be a Face-character yea But indeed, the Inferno gear is not complete without the helmet, I don't see it under optional items too so it's good as it is currently : Helmet required and Face is an option Now the thing to add is that, when you get approved, maybe you could be approved as "worn helmet" AND face character (if you're matching minimal "face" requirements) so you can take part into events wih both options and you only got to say "Del face or Del helmet". A systematic double configuration approval would be a good compromise I think ? And concerning Canon Events, subject to casting, just put both options, if they accept face it's good for you, else, you always have your helmet.. Now, obviously, you're not doing that costume to leave your helmet behind But I just find it cool to have that kind of flexibility
  14. So let's sum-up things here also : - compad incoming - inferno gloves incoming - inferno boots incoming - Scout TD incoming - special 5 boxes belt is being made, hope it will soon be incoming - Almost found how to attache the MP-40 ammo pouch to the left shoulder - Leather strips incoming - Currently painting my thigh box + TK drop boxes that will be used to fill the M4 slots on the ammo vest - Nylon "cases" ordered and incoming to fill the M4 slots on the ammo vest also (will be behind the TK drop box) - Need to order DLT-19X - Lack of details / wrong details on the helmet that I'm fixing : new hose connectors, will replace the inferno emblem decal by a new one that will be pointing to good direction etc..
  15. Looking good ! For the scout belt " back " attachment I would add the quick release buckle option, velcro is nice but a quick release can also work perfectly I guess (just like regular scout belts) Concerning code cylinders I trust you but I don't remember seeing any, it doesn't bother me as it's an easy add but well It felt better under optional stuff rather than required Also I would keep separated the MP-40 ammo pouch from the ammo vest to avoid confusion as MP-40 pouch is not attached or linked to the ammo vest in any way (being attached to the left shoulder only) VoilÃ
  16. Also got an error, anyway, if you're seeking for cut-scenes, here they are, all of them
  17. Thanks to you for taking in count all that My pleasure, really ^^ And take the time you need haha
  18. Thank you ! Yea it's mainly Jim's work But the helmet is from Chris Denis, I'll tweak it a bit so it'll be a little more accurate
  19. I'm sorry to "spam" in this thread but I just would like to keep it clear and easy to work with for the Staff. Here is a final sum-up of everything to add/change to complete the Del Meeko's CRL as I think we're now done. If it needs a little modification here or there I'll edit this post and notify about that. Therefore, I'm asking to members out here to try limiting their posts after this and to let DeathMOS30 (S.O CRL STAFF) or Darth Emphatic (Spec Ops Staff) see all this/reply to all of this. As I already said, it's hard enough to merge every infos together, so it's time to make all this clear and not confusing with X or Y opinions on that or this. Thanks for your understanding. 1) Thermal Detonator - SILVER details CONFIRMED. 2) Patches - Patches are embroidered CONFIRMED. 3) DLT-19X - Red ring on the scope CONFIRMED. 4) Ammo Vest - Level 2 : Webbing is leather made - CONFIRMED. 5) ARMOR - NO OVAL IDENTATION FOR DEL MEEKO CONFIRMED. ONLY IDEN HAS IT. 6) MP40 AMMO POUCHE + AR-15 POUCHE - The pic says it all. We can still see the left patch + code cylinders pouches. So the MP40 ammo pouche is likely attached to the left SHOULDER with INVISIBLE SYSTEM. Confirmed. Also re-checked In Game and it's definitely true. The invisible system could be : Velcro / Heavy duty pressure snaps / [...] - Also, AR-15 ammo pouche only present on the right side of the ammo vest, nothing on the left side. (but can keep this second AR-15 pouche optional in the CRL). Confirmed. 7) DEL MEEKO BELT DEL MEEKO BELT : - Classic ROTJ imperial officer belt (with top and bottom groove) - One piece 5 boxes belt made from the same flexible material as the Iden's TK Ammo Belt. Belt painted gloss black. Silver weathering optional. This 5 boxes belt is attached to a 1.5" strip. 1.5" strip + 5 boxes belt are, therefore, worn over the officer belt. -> rectangular boxes replaced by special shaped boxes -> 8 rivets : 2 on the left + right of the special shaped box - each side - Only one thigh box is present, on the right side of the wearer, painted gloss black. Silver weathering optional. - 1,5" "nylon" webbing attached to the scout belt 1.5" strip in the BACK and to the center buckle of the 5 boxes belt in the FRONT to hold the thigh box -> this webbing is separated with black quick release buckles at the front + back - Two clothes black scout pouches are worn at the back of the officer belt + scout belt 1.5" strip, not too far from the scout thermal detonator. Pouches are stuffed with material of some kind to make them look filled. - The scout thermal detonator is gloss black in color and got it's button details painted SILVER*. Silver weatherting optional. This TD is attached in the back of the scout belt 1.5" strip with an invisible system. The TD zip tie holding the tube is not visible (optional?) *After another check In Game the Thermal Detonator details buttons are Silver confirmed. Level 2 : - 1.5" Webbing is leather made -> 1.5" LEATHER STRIPS are used for the main "scout" belt + thigh box holding. Quick release buckles are also 1.5". (logical) Comment : When I'll be done with all this belt, we'll see if the two belts are staying at the right place all the time. As I guess the scout belt will move and will never stay in the middle of the officer belt. If I'm right with that I recommand an invisible solution to make all that 2 belts system "safe". Now the Belt Part is 100% completed and verified. Here is the screen thats shows a better view of the TD details : ADDITIONAL INFO CONCERNING THE AMMO VEST : The ammo vest M4 mags pouches doesn't hold M4 mags replicas. It's holding one hanging box from a TK front Belt (Iden have them) + 1 nylon rectangular *filled* case in each pouche. We assume the nylon case is 6 cm wide (min/max to make it fit into the M4 mag pouches) The hanging boxes are painted gloss black. Silver weathering optional. These hanging boxes shall be 13 / 13,5 cm high so only 1 / 1.5 cm of the hanging box is visible outside the M4 mag pouche.
  20. Edit : Thanks for their help on some details I missed. Anyway, I've made adjustements into what I wrote as some parts are true and verified on screenshots I also took. I also corrected 1" webbing into 1.5" as It appears to me it's actually a bit larger than 1", indeed. I've got 1" webbing at home and when I scale it to other elements it's too small. DEL MEEKO BELT : - Classic ROTJ imperial officer belt (with top and bottom groove) - One piece 5 boxes belt made from the same flexible material as the Iden's TK Ammo Belt. Here is the screen thats shows a better view of the TD details :
  21. In my opinion you can easilly attache the one piece belt to the officer belt with pressure snaps that are large enough to hold everything correctly I took time to think about all of that and finally it doesn't sound that difficult to make it. The only hard part is to get a prop maker to make the one piece belt ! Then you're just almost done ! @ Dorothy : So here is a little sum-up so you can see what to add to the CRL : (don't forget the other elements in my previous post where there are every In Game screenshots ) DEL MEEKO BELT : - Classic ROTJ imperial officer belt (with top and bottom groove) - One piece 5 boxes belt made from the same flexible material as the Iden's TK Ammo Belt. This One Piece belt is attached to the Officer Belt with a secure pressure snaps system. Belt painted gloss black. Silver weathering optional. -> rectangular boxes replaced by special shaped boxes -> 8 rivets : 2 on the left + right of the special shaped box - each side - Only one thigh box is present, on the right side of the wearer, painted gloss black. Silver weathering optional. - 1" nylon webbing attached to the Officer belt to hold the thigh box -> this webbing is separated with black quick release buckles at the front + back - Two clothes black scout pouches are worn at the back of the officer belt, not too far from the scout thermal detonator - The scout thermal detonator is gloss black in color and got it's button details painted gloss white. Silver weatherting optional. This TD is attached in the back of the officer belt with an invisible system. The TD zip tie holding the tube is not visible (optional?) Level 2 : - 1" Webbing is leather made So yea the only point I'll keep from my previous suggestions is to keep nylon webbing for basic approval in level 1 and put leather webbing as an upgrade in a Level 2. Now I think we've got finally something nice and, most important of all : Confirmed, as checked in the game and adapted to "our world" @Others : i think it's time to let Dorothy reply to all of this, it's hard enough to merge every infos together so let's not make it harder xD
  22. Already thanks to both of you haha ! For me it just feels like an easy job, as I'm quite concerned with Del's uniform, this is just how I work xD Happy to share all these final In Game infos "pretty soon" with you and really glad you all find it helpful (@Darth Emphatic : Well yea, I'm playing quite soon as I pre-ordered the elite deluxe edition which was released on the 14th November thanks again for your 1st comment haha, coming from a SpecOps Staff I must say I'm touched ! ^^ ) @Norphos : These are definitely 2 separate belts attached together : The classic Rotj officer belt + 5 belt boxes "one piece" belt made out of the same flexible material as the Iden's TK Ammo front Belt So yea I guess the one piece 5 belt boxes belt is attached with pressure snaps system or whatever I insist on the --> ROTJ <--- officer belt as it's not 100% flat just like an ANH belt, it has a top and bottom groove on it !!! Just like this : Concerning the back, you can check the 1st pic (thermal detonator) on my previous post, you'll only see the "back" of the officer belt the 5 boxes belt is a FRONT PART ONLY ! Again, just like Iden's TK AMMO belt !! Leather webbing, indeed it's cool but we should have choice between nylon (level 1) and leather (level 2). It's only a suggestion but I repeat we need tolerance and flexibility =) As I said, almost the whole final revelations I made on this belt, should be "level 2" xD as most of it feels like upgrades. We'll never be 100% accurate. The only way to do so is do be part of the Star Wars universe itself, with it's specific materials (plastic-steel etc xD), which doesn't exist So, let's do it "our" way. I think what I suggested is a good compromise, so everyone can have an acceptable render of Del's belt. And for the one who feel able to do it, they can directly go for level 2 / level 3 specs Just like any other 501st costume !! Repeating something I saw on a facebook 501st inferno group I'm in : After all, Inferno is just another TIE variant that will be mistaken with Vader so ... x'D I mean, even in canon events NO ONE will spot ANYTHING as NO ONE will ever study the uniform In Game or anywhere else as we did ^^ We'll be the only people, with DICE/EA/ Lucasfilm dev team and artists, aware of all these details Damn I'm talking too much sorry xD Alright ! letting Dorothy looking at all this now ! PS : SOMETHING I FORGOT TO MENTION !!!!! ABSOLUTELY 0 CINEMATICS / FLASHBACKS WITH SEYN MARANA, SO THE GAME WON'T HELP WITH HER UNIFORM SPECS !
  23. Hello everyone ! WELLLLL..... I started playing the Battlefront II Campagin as soon as I could (12 hours ago). Therfore I took every screenshots needed to Complete to 100% our Del Meeko CRL. Confirmed. - Also, AR-15 ammo pouche only present on the right side of the ammo vest, nothing on the left side. (but can keep this second AR-15 pouche optional in the CRL). Confirmed. 7) DEL MEEKO BELT... I'm sorry to say that but it seems I was ALL - WRONG. But still, please hear me on that, I suggest a lot of tolerance on that element as it won't be easy to get that render. So. The real belt is : - A regular ROTJ imperial officer belt. - Over that belt, at the front, the 5 boxes belt seems "one piece". The "rectangular" boxes are not fully "rectangular" they got a special shape. - Every webbing are leather made. - We don't really know how is attached the 5 boxes belt to the regular ROTJ imperial belt so yea, not easy. My suggestion for flexibility (I beg you xD) : [EDIT] Put LEVEL 2 : leather webbing at least So, I let you have the last word on all that Thank you again for taking in count what I said
  24. Hi ! You're welcome for the files Norphos and good luck with everything You're right to stay optimistic ! Thanks again for the interest Today I wanted to show some progress on the belt boxes, I'm currently painting them. The first coats (after plastic primer) are silver before covering it with the gloss black. Doing my best to make a smooth silver render so the weathering (scratches etc) can only get better then. (Looking at this, it kinda almost hurts to cover it with black later haha) When I'll have some time, maybe after 501st approval, I'll do the exact same procedure with the armor (black only atm as I was missing the GOOD silver paint) AND the thigh box, that I can paint at the same time I'm painting belt boxes (my thigh box was thermoformed with black ABS so I didn't have to paint it until I decided I'll have to). I like pretty much the idea of "metallic" scratches on these hard parts so it's a definitely needed upgrade. I'll obviously do the same with the incomming thermal detonator ! See you for the next update !
  25. Huge thanks again Dorothy for taking in count my little feedback I'm really touched and find it kind of you as I'm quite new arround that forum ^^ I would be glad to provide you with pics as soon as I'm done ! All that depends on the few elements I'm still waiting for and that should arrive in a couple of weeks I totally agree on the fact we could feel free to build any Inferno member, I personally bought Iden's pauldron for myself, I like pretty much her configuration and could build it someday Concerning Seyn, yea, we lack reference pics so can't really tell how she is. Hopefully she will be integrated in BF2 cinematics or "maybe" comics book later.. PS : I may not get the DLT-19X at the same time I'll complete the uniform, maybe some weeks later.. I planned to order a full functionable resin/aluminium replica that is 100% based on an original MG-34.. So it needs $$$ + time ^^ Anyway there are enough pics of DLT-19X on google xD
