  1. This what you need, Seven? http://forum.specops501st.com/index.php?/topic/3841-Shadow-Scout/Commando-terms#entry58037 Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  2. That's cool. We got issued those too, lol. I got government junk lying around ERRYWHERE! Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  3. Is there any way we can get the images in this thread updated? This was a very interesting discussion, but because I don't normally reside in the darkest nooks and crannies of comic books or tabletop and video games, I am having a difficult time visualizing the artwork and characters. I would love to be able to see what you guys are referring to. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  4. Looking at this image, an argument could be made to use these very common US Government Issue Sun, Dust, and Wind (SDW) goggles that were standard issue in the '80-'90s. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  5. If I remember my Cold War reenacting research correctly, the boots shown in the CRL are East German military issue. The buckles at the top make them Bundesmarine boots, specifically, like the ones shown in this picture. The ones without buckles are NVA issue (think Soviet DDR, not Vietnamese lol). There was a lot of variation in NVA issue items over the years due to Soviet Russian oversight, but the Bundesmarine versions look the most accurate to me. (The sole in this picture is probably post-1991. I think the Soviet soles were brown leather with visible hobnails.) Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  6. Belt is US Government Issue, from the '90s. I was issued one by the Army. If it helps people find them, the NSN is 8465-61-322-1965 or -1966. We usually called it a "pistol belt". They're a dime-a-dozen. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  7. German MP40 Schmeisser mag pouches on the left shoulder are drool worthy. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
