  1. Spraying the holster Montana olive green as we speak. Pics to follow once dry! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  2. Think my costuming burn-out is wearing off a little. Looking to get this finished in the next couple of weeks. I'll try and get some holster measurements, also PM sent about the harness!
  3. Don't have the blaster and holster in-hand at the minute. Pictures I posted were took by Burkbench who I commissioned to make it. Once it arrives I can take some detailed pics with measurements etc Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  4. Been quite a while since my last update, but I got the jumpsuit back not long after my last post with the correct collar. Helmet padding is still in the bag and needs to be fitted. The final component (holster + blaster) was finished and boxed up today. I think it's turned out fantastic. With some Montana Gold olive green it should fit the Trooper holster references very nicely. I was told it was quite a challenging holster to make with no existing examples.
  5. Had to send my jumpsuit back for a quick mod to make the collar pointed. On its way back to me. Once I have it I should be able to submit for approval Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  6. Ah I see. With the jumpsuit legs bloused over the tops of the boots the zipper tab should be covered anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it. At least you have some good looking boots!
  7. Zip is unavoidable unfortunately for these style of boots. If you want to cover the actual zipper head, I recommend using military elastic trousers twists. You can use these to easily blouse the legs of your jumpsuit over the tops of the boots and cover the most obvious part of the zip. This is what I did This also gives the most accurate look to the source material [emoji106] Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  8. Jumpsuit arrived and it's perfect! ? Tried to get some pictures but the Autumn evening lighting + my phone's camera failed me. Admittedly it is a darker olive green than some other components, but it is still olive green and not the grey that it appears as in the pics ?? Best example is that the French Army olive green gloves look dark grey here too, so use that as a comparison. This was just a very quick test fitting. The excess webbing for the harness needs to be trimmed at the front, and I still need to get padding for the inside of the helmet. Other than those 2 small things, the only thing I'm still waiting on is the holster and DH-17. The last 2 pics you can see the actual olive green a little better.
  9. Jumpsuit is finished and will be shipped out tomorrow! [emoji16] Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  10. I think he's after the Level 2 boots, and so far the closest match are the commuter boots (have a pair myself), which are notoriously hard to find in a range of sizes. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  11. Few more snaps [emoji16] Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  12. Slipped my mind that the inside had to be sprayed too. Fixed lol
  13. Helmet arrived from Jason on Friday. Been sprayed and telemetry unit screwed in place. Now just need another set of padding (used the one I had on my Navy lid) and to fit my chin strap and the black tubing around the rim and will be all finished. Then it's just the jumpsuit and holster to wait for, which, all goes well, should be another week or 2 at most.
