I have the complete Death Trooper finished, I just have to go in and body work and paint the parts. Here is the helmet. I lost a few of the in progress pictures, so there are gaps.
A rough layout of the mask parts.
And we jump to this, I had the parts painted as separate pieces, got part of it glued together and after a mishap and I damaged the shell's paint, I had to paint it partially assembled. (My cheap paint stand is a box with 2 two liter bottles up into the helmet)
Here it is on some of the other finished pieces. I ended up pulling off the mask and just painted it, then went in with a brush and fix the gun metal color, which sucked because I sprayed it on over the slots originally.
Here is is complete
Here is the insides, The padding isn't going to work, it doesn't hold it up high enough on my head and it rests uncomfortably on my nose, so I have to pick up a hard had suspension gear and put that on the inside. I put in speaker grill mesh over the slots. Since I'm 3d printing this and I wanted to make my own voice changer, It's not the encrypted sounds, because I actually want to talk and people understand me, but very distorted. Once I put it in and if the volume is loud enough I'll keep it in and post a video of it and see what you think. I still have to get the bottom liner thing too. Looking at pictures of it, it looks like some kind of automotive J channel part.
