Armor came today! Along with my belt boxes! I made my own belt, so now I can get things rolling. Still waiting for my back plate, shins, tunic, palatka, goggles, respirator.. etc. But this a good start.

The pants and scarf arrived today, both look fantastic. As well, the armor maker has allowed me to share his identity. It is Dan Laws. I've also sourced a few parts from 850 Armor Works. If anybody desires links to any of the components I'm getting, let me know and I'll gladly share some links with you! ? As well, prepare for a ton of 'improvisations'. I'm aiming to help out the people who can't afford to buy a custom tunic or custom pants, or the exact paints used. So when this build actually gets fully going, expect lots of pictures. Sorry for the lack of updates otherwise, I'm waiting for my armor to arrive, along with the tunic and palatka.

Update: Found a tunic that will work, after being modified. I'm also going to make my own belt, and StormyStormtrooper here is helping me with the boxes, so big shoutout to StormyStormtrooper! ? Here's the tunic. It's a Belgian field jacket With the proper modifications, I feel this jacket will be suitable. When I have it in hand, I'll take pictures before and after the modifications are made.

Quick question for anyone who knows. What gas mask hoses are suitable? I own a surplus Russian gas mask hose that has brass connectors on it.

I've got the armor on the way, still trying to figure out where I can get the lower belt from. I'll probably end up just making one.

Here's a picture of the telemetry unit. Yes, I have three. One's for me, one's for the guy I'm working with, and one's... an extra. Also yes, they are blue. The guy whom I had print these for me only had blue plastic. Not an issue though since it'll be painted!

Hello all! I said I was going to do this eventually, so here goes. I'm starting work on a Mudtrooper following the proposed CRL, and since I've planned for changes, most of the parts I'm using will be 3D printed. Thus is a change is made, I can simply print an updated version. Now what's interactive about this? I'll be doing up the pieces based on YOUR feedback! Like how something looks? Let me know! Don't like how something looks? Tell me what you'd like to see changed! Aside that, as I said, I'll be following the proposed CRL as closely as I can unless something merits changing. That's the model I bought to check it out. Some parts of it are innaccurate. The top half of the goggles isn't quite right, and the bridge connector is completely wrong. I've been fixing them up properly and have plans to print them. I'm currently working with an armor vendor as well, so I'll probably start a build/feedback thread soon to have people chip in their opinions on.

Hey I'll make a case any day for being that guy with the BFG ? I can understand your point though. I'll do some digging and see if I can possibly find an official imperial backup source.

Just my personal opinion here, but I'd think he'd be a Mudtrooper variant. We only ever see him in a Mudtrooper outfit, his role in the movie was virtually non-existant, and it's even stated in the Behind The Scenes that he was to be killed in the battle. So we wouldn't have seen him in what his regular gear would be anyways. All we have to go on is that he was a member of Beckett's crew as the muscle.

Hey all! Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. Anyways: I'm putting together stuff for my Mudtrooper as I wait for some parts of my Deathtrooper to arrive. I've gotten my boots, gloves, Palatka, and I have a tunic I'm waiting on... but does anyone know what pants are good? The CRL proposal simply states "Black heavy cotton pants with double reinforced thighs. They do not have visible pockets or other adornment on the legs. Shall be moderately to heavily weathered." I can't seem to find any pants that match this. Unless I'm looking in all the wrong places, or it'll need to be a custom item. Can someone help a hopeful Mimban Mudder out? Thanks! ?

(Plus we just got a Krennic approved, he needs some company ?) So I shall list here all the components I have and need to get, followed by my build thread.
