oh sorry i didnt see that you had answered back. I have been working on the helmet for a whole week now and it allmost look like it should but my image files are to large so i cant show it sadly

i now have the measurement on my helmet, at its widest point its 13.3 inches across but according to intergalactic supply it should be 8 inches across, so either the file for veers helmet that i found was measurd wrong or the guys that made my helmet has scaled it up but refuse to tell the truth, Either was its way to big and i cant use it if i want to join you guys

i measured the spot between many of the seams and its 3 mm wide, so there will have to be a lot of putty and stuff applied to something that i paid 130 usd and waited for a whole year for, thats pretty sad

yeah your allways helpfull ^^ i got the helmet today so i can show a picture..but sadly the guy that printed it out and the one that glued it together didnt do a nice job so i will have to take it apart and trying to get it as best as i can, none of the seams go together well so its going to be a nightmare

Hello gents i just wanted to ask you how big a navy helmet is? I ordered a helmet from a 3d printer guy a year ago almost and after a lot of setbacks the helmet is finally done. But the bad part is that i think this guy is trying to scam me and drag out on the delivery because he says that the helmet is so wide that you cant put it in a cardboard box for bananas (you know that kind that stores get) and that he has had to order a special size from the postal service that has yet to come..and it has been 10 days since i last asked him if he had sent it. Is this guy screwing with me or is the helmet really that wide?.

it was in the crl under special notes that i can see that they say what material that your battle armor can be made of. Blousing is that when you fold the top of the boots downwards so it becomes double layer?

Hmm i saw in the libary that you could have battle armor if you wanted to, what armor do you think they refer to? is it the same as at-commander or something like that

i just wanted to show how the overalls and boots looked together before alteration, what do you guys think will this do?

I have placed an order on a overall and the belt today so things are moving forward a little, And it would seem that my boots have arrived also so im going to pick them up later. And just for fun im going tro try to win an auction on an hasbro e-11 today even though i was told to not get it because my helmet guy didnt think they were any good. But what do you guys think about the hasbro with a conversion kit from doopydoos?

yepp i probably will get mine or have one ready after i get approved, that way i can have whatever gun i want when im out trooping, sure i was thinking of getting a e-11 anyway but i wouldnt say so to carry an se14-r as a secondary XD but that would never fly with the evil overlords that approve us, so that will have to wait

yeah i know Raider and if i dont win the auction for the hasbro gun then im going to wait until i can afford a flashy one

yeah i was going to try to save up to one of those helmets, but this printer guy was so energitic so he started on the print right away, so it is being made as we speak so not much can be done there. its going to take 180 hours to print it out that bad boy and after that i must try to locate the parts to make the correct grieblies so i got some work ahead. But at least i have you nice people to ask if i need help

hmm good idea, im gonna keep that in mind..im also eyeballing an old hasbro e-11 at the moment. I know you can get those more accurate with add on kits. But of what i understand those rubies blasters are a big no no right?

well it seems like i have a helmet on the way, its going to take a week in time to print it out, And then the real work will begin with sanding things, filling in the back and making grieblies and stuff like that. Where did you guys get your guns from if you have any? the e-11 dont seem so hard to get ahold of, but the dh-17 seems to be more rare

also do any of you know of a good 3d printer file of this helmet, the veers helmet file that i found has to much things that i dont need on my helmet

Hey i have a question for you fine gentlemen, where did you get your helmet from? i have been looking around a little and i have been in contact with intergalactic supply (swell guy) and someone from england and a 3d printer guy here from sweden. But i would like to hear where you got your helmets and how much they cost you?

OOh OOh i might finally have some good new guys when it comes to the boots, a 501st member in sweden has offered me to buy his old jackboots for a decent price so we might at least move forward from that item soon, i have heard that most times the boots are the trickiest item to get right and find so if all goes right its going to be o smoother ride from here on..but it will still be some time before i can get it done and join you the proper way

im a bit torn to be honest, on one hand i get it that its worth getting accurate and nice shoes, and on the other hand im thinking about how much the will cost and the little use they will get because you are only going to use them while you are trooping and thats not all the time, specially not here in the north. When you are unemployed and just get so much from the wellfare that you can buy food and stuff you need to survive that kind of many is quite alot, I know im nagging i just wished that i could find a job again so i dont need to worry so much about the small cost that the costume amounts to

well time to start saving XD the shipping cost allmost as much as the shoes does so i might not be able to get them in a while, that seem to be the commen problem for me

OOH! you right Armin i didnt even think about that the zipper was on the wrong side, sorry guys my bad. I will check soviet boots then ^^ and see if they have some in my size. Im a modelbuilder so sanding priming and all that stuff doesnt bother me that much, but if i want to be lazy i can try to hoard money to buy one of intergalactic supply:s helmet

these are the boots on the crl page, am i crazy or isnt the zipper on the outside on these?

Hey david thank you for the headsup its going to be of great help. But when i looked at the picture of the boots in the crl, the green ones they also have the zipper on the outside and it looks like they just sprayed the whole boot with green color including the zipper, i will continue to look around to see if i could find more suited shoes and im about to try to reach out to the local gml now to see what he have to say. I think i at least have found some olive green gloves, a pair of french nato gloves and the only thing that they are missing are the three stripes on top. The worst thing with all of this is that i dont own a sewing machine, my ex had one but she took it with her when she moved out. And i cant with a clean conscience say that im very good at sewing but maybe i can find a kind soul to help me. When it comes to the helmet i think i have it covered in the future because i have been in contact with a person that owns a 3d printer so if i could just find a good 3d file that 501st would approve then im set..hopefully
