I posted this information out on a Facebook group post. Thought it would be good to share here to help with the CRL To give a bit more insight about the ISB Skirt, it is originally made of 4mill leather. The boarder detail is about 1/2” inward and the diagonal detail starts approximately 4-5 inches inward from bottom corner and angles upwards towards the outside and stops exactly at the detail border and at the bottom of the white leather belt. Also most importantly the Skirt is leather and the detail la are V grooves. Not stitching. Theirs also supposed to be a long narrow dart in the center to help taper the skirt to fit around the hips better. This center dart is folded forward therefore making them a Left or Right side. The trapezoid rear box is were the black rubber belt is adjustable and the distance gap between the the skirt and that rear box will change. What does stay the same is the front gap of the skirts is approximately 10 inches.

And to move down the arms… the hand backs are the new era Stormtrooper and gloves with the same design and detail palm pads like seen in Rogue One. The hand backs or hand guards are cast not vac-formed and have the recessed oval pill slot detail in the center front near the knuckle area on the Left and Right hand guard.

The blue and red rectangles on the com-pad are made of a translucent material. As I mentioned before they were intended to light up but last minute they were not illuminated for the show. But they are still transparent not a solid red or blue. Here is an image of it with the lights on.

Sounding good so far. I know the forearms are a complex part. The 4 Allen head screws are not part of the com-pad. They are on the lower longer trapezoid shape area on the forearm. The receiving end of the parachute clip is a fixed to this longer trapezoid side. Flexible straps with a tanish or white color, similar to the lower leg straps design, are fixed to the forearm white strapping. The Com-pad has 4 low profile button head screws with centered flat slots. Also the 9volt battery was intended to light up the red and blue “translucent” acrylic rectangles. (Not painted red or blue)

Hey chris, I realize you are a maker and we have not properly been introduced. Let me give you a little background on myself. I started making costumes over 20 years ago. LFL recognized that I was doing and reached out to me to create certain characters for promotional reasons, such as the movie realistic clones, the old republic, Jedi, then followed animated clones to help them promote the clone wars. Over the years we develop mutual agreements, some just verbal, some actual contracts. I’ve had several conversations with head of licensing and became part of the circle of trust. I still feel incredibly lucky to receive assets and detail images for characters. Throughout the years, I was able to prove to them my level of detail and accuracy and the ability of completing projects in a short amount of time. I went to an all art high school and art college. I have been sculpting for over 35 years. I have worked on many commercials shows and movies. You can check out my IMDb. In this business, I believe integrity is one of the most valuable characteristics. I have no reason to steer anybody wrong in the details. I am providing to help others create an accurate ISB Tactical Agent or any other characters I have developed over the last two decades.

Also the basic shape of the forearms/ vambraces are what’s called mirror symmetrical. The left has various parts attached to make it different. On the inside smaller trapezoid area a detailed base for the approximate 3” flash light/torch (although it never lights up on the show) Top area has a Com-pad with multiple detailed parts. (Not sure how descriptive you want to be here or keep it kind of vague so that other makers can get their’s approved? ) The left and Right forearms sit approximately 1” away from the wearer arms. Padding is used inside to achieve this. They do not sit flush to the sleeve of the jacket.

The forearms/ vambraces used a 1” wide white nylon/ synthetic strap with white square notched parachute clips and adjusters. All originally bright white. Then the flexible cast strip with a series of 5-7 some may have up to 8 bricks depending on forearm circumstance, were glued onto the white 1” straps afterwards. Some of the flexible bricks were painted white, others raw cast that had an off white tan color. Then all parts were weathered with black acrylic wash. The receiving end of the parachute clips are affixed with a loop of the white nylon / synthetic 1” strap to the inside area of the lower wider portion on the forearms / vambraces. The elongated trapezoid side with the recessed grove framing the shape approximately 1/4” inside from out side edge and 4 flat Allen Head screws at each inner corner. No tan or beige webbing type straps were used.

As for the leg straps… Starting from the outside of the shin plate, it’s visible that 2 bricks are fixed to the strap separately. Then the new style decorative buckle directly behind those 2 bricks. A parachute clip is behind the decorative buckle, with the receiving end of the parachute clip visible. ( not the prong side of the clip) Then a flat smooth area, approximately 2 inches long appears to be wrapping into the receiving parachute clip, followed by a series of bricks continue around the back of the boot/ leg and inner side of the person’s boot/ leg towards the inner edge of the shin plate. There is approximately 3 bricks more difference from the top strap and the bottom straps. The bottom strap has 15 bricks, the top has 18, not counting the first 2 separate bricks on the outside edge of shin plate. This total count would vary based on different boot sizes needed for the wearer. The bottom strap wraps snuggly to the ankle area of the boot. The upper strap is above the boot, wrapping around the leg. Each strap width is approximately 1 3/4 inch wide.

The original TA suit - They used black acrylic wash to age/weather all of the suits. Some more than others.
