  1. Just popping in to let ya know we are still rolling on the build. Kevin is hammering away molds and getting them cast as fast as possible. We will fly sooner than later!!!
  2. I am still waiting on the rest of the Kit from Jsin/KB. They have the arms and legs mostly molded. Ran into some issues with the waist piece and are now molding it in rubber hoping to get started soon and YES, I will be posting some WIP and deff working with you guys to get it approved. Icytrooper’s CRL is being used as a rough guide.
  3. Jet Bucket is finished. As far as I could tell the cheek lines are hit with a slight black on the Sith Jet troopers. I also hit the backs of the nose vents with black as well. Visor is set in place and also black mesh is added behind the mouth greeble with zero costumer visibility. edited post with better picture link https://imgur.com/gallery/xet7Ldr
  4. Awesome! I was very pleased with Jsins work on the bucket, very nice and strong cast. Cant wait too see yours once you get started on it!
  5. 2 coats of gloss clear down along with the mouth greeble glued in place. Couple more coats of clear, then it’s sanding polish and sealing time!
  6. Is it fairly safe to assume this CRL can be used for my Sith jety? i know the mentioned "red' decals will be "yellow" on mine and obviously my armor wont be white, lol. But i have yet to see any differences besides color between the normal Jet and the Sith version. Good work on the CRL so far!!
  7. AWESOME!!! I cant wait to see yours come together! having the added efx will really take it to another level!!
  8. This look super accurate as far as being dead on with the life sized models!
  9. The main thing i'm conflicted on is the little red dashes that go along the underside of the front area. Some showed it and some dont. I feel like there are 100 different combos i've seen. I dont have much room on my print to add them but I could possibly add it via some decals. But I feel in order to have the room ill have too add some foam on the bottom to give me enough of a surface to add them.
  10. Has anyone tried out the Rustoleum Regal Red? I saw where some people were using that for the Praetorian and Royal guards so I went with that first on my Jet Bucket. The pic below is just two coats of it. Plan to put a couple more then polish with 5000 before I add the clear gloss.
  11. Hey Troopers! I thought I would toss up a few pics of my blaster build for my Sith Jet Trooper. The print I used was made from early references and i believe the model used was the same as the Fortnight blaster from the reference photos I found of it. It needed lots of work and I still think its far from accurate judging by the post in the sith trooper topic. I plan to get the F-11ABA Heavy Canon also ans would ideally like to carry one and have the other holstered on my thigh armor. Ill more than likely have to get another print and redo this one but just wanted to share what i have so far. I mostly used the visual dictionary paired with the Hot Toys blaster a friend sent me reference pics of. The mag was from a F-11 blaster I had to mod and decided to leave the emblem off of for now. The original print I got didn’t come with a mag. I had to shave down the sight and add the adjustment wheel to make it more accurate. Then I filled in the gaps it had up front and used some replacement arcade buttons to make the “grenade launcher” buttons. The biggest challenge was cutting out the front side vents where I used wooden dowels and glued them in place to give the “tubing” effect. The muzzle was totally wrong so I used some copper pipe and a reducer then drilled all the holes and made it smooth with bondo filler paste. The final part was cutting the front of the grip out and I replaced it with the grip of a old air soft glock pistol I had. The entire thing is also lined up with dowel rods that connect the front half’s and the buttstock to make the blaster a little more rigid. I've tried to Embed the Album here but I don't think i'm doing it right, so i added a link. Forgive my lack of Forum knowledge, i haven't been on one in ages! *facepalm* https://imgur.com/a/jVSx7nA
  12. Awesome! I’ll deff keep posting updates as I get more done. The bucket should be all finished up this week. I’m certainly glad to help with anything I can. Pretty excited to see this come to life!
  13. I’ve got my KB props Bucket so far. They are working on the rest of the kit and it should be out in a month or so. I made a build thread with my updates. Can’t wait to start flying!
  14. Hey everyone! Looks like I’m breaking ground here as the first Sith Jet Trooper Build. I plan to go 501st but still have to wait for the CRL to be posted. This is also my first build ever, so any and all tips, tricks, help and criticism is welcomed. So far I’ve just got the helmet and it’s about 75% complete right now. I’ll toss some pics up as I make progress. Hope to meet some other fellow jet troopers along the way! MTFBWY! Oh and don’t forget.... WE FLY NOW!
