  1. Here is a pic from the con I was at, you can't see it in this photo but I cut a piece of the burned red flesh and glued it in the burn hole on the chest piece...
  2. Still need to "dirty" up the pants and shirt. It's not perfect but it'll have to do for this weekend.
  3. Thanks everyone! I was a little unsure about the mixing the bright and dark green but it came out good so I'm happy. I haven't looked into the helmet yet since I've only got 3 more days to put together and still have to work 33 more hours before the con this weekend. It's not going to be perfect by this weekend but it should be good enough until I can get it completely finished with helmet and all. :-)
  4. heer is the finished paint job. just need to put it together...
  5. I said they are the same too but he argues that becuz the armor isn't the same, they are two different troopers.
  6. Ok so got into a little heated debate about weather a shadow scout an a commando are the same trooper. What say ye?
  7. Come back in three hours and I'll post pic. Thanks everyone!
  8. Later tonight when I get home yes. It'll be in about 3 hours
  9. Ok, this isn't a "TX" question really but I get more responses here then on the fisd forum. So, I bought a sandtrooper armor for the misses, she is a tiny thing, 5'1 and 110 pounds wet, so I was trimming the guanlets and I believe I trimmed to much off of one. I trimmed straight to the actual armor on both sides becuz of her small arms. In other words, the part that u would usually put the Velcro to piece the two together is no longer there. :-( Can I glue the two together and still get her accepted since it won't be circular and more "diamond" shaped or do I have to try to find someone to sell me the guanlet?
  10. Quick question, I'm going to add some green highlights. I've been told to use a neon type green to a olive green. I think neon would be to bright and olive wouldn't show against the black. So, maybe a hunter green?
  11. Haven't really have it much thought since I don't have the funds for one yet.
  12. well here it is before paint and after. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
  13. Maybe one more crack from the bottom under the burn hole up at a right angle was what I was thinking.
  14. Thanks. I was going to add some more "cracks" but I think less is more in this case. :-)
  15. Once I'm done I'm going to dry-brush a rust/brown highlight over it all to give it that worn look. Think it's going to look good.
  16. here is what i got done so far... http://s91.beta.photobucket.com/user/drthmrl/library/death%20shadow%20scout
