  1. Optional for this part? The Rubber or foam trim around the metallic frame may have (approx) quarter inch EVA foam lining underneath. I think there is enough photographic evidence at this point to make this either optional or L2. I added it on mine and it does aide in helping the goggles, etc. Your call of course. Everything else looks good. Goggles shall have a trim around metallic frame. Trim shall be rubber or foam.
  2. Recommendations: Goggles do not look aged or weathered. They look pretty clean. Perhaps subtle weathering. They almost look painted in Alumaluster. The side buckle I previously identified and posted is ornamental only serving no functional purpose. It is plated silver. There is no webbing. There are only the two sizes of elastic, with the smaller attaching directly to the goggles. Optional - There are two 1.5 triglides on the back right side next to the big buckle (seen on only a few on screen). Permanent mounting of goggles is optional. I’d say direct attachment to telemetry unit is optional. In enough images it appears to just fit under the lower side of the unit. Optional? EVA foam lines the underside of the goggles and the elastic connects directly to the foam (seen in photos). That’s all I’ve got for now. Understanding there may be stunt v. Hero buckets, I am only going off what I see on screen and documented in photos making no asssumptions.
  3. Not wanting to beat a dead horse, and I know we want to move on, after reviewing footage from Rix Road, pausing, observing etc... I have come to believe that those helmets use the inner part of a bicycle helmet with foam laid in a cross pattern for comfort. Not a huge thing, and we can discuss later if wanting to move on to the goggles since we've been on the helmet for a while.
  4. I think we should probably address the chin strap a little more. The webbing almost appears boderline loam from the lighting but it likely grey as stated. It looks like the left side of the strap had a black pop snap that attaches to a shorter piece of webbing.
  5. After hours of searching I believe I have found the part they used for the side buckle greeblie on the goggles. If you look at the photo, the amount of teeth and size matches perfectly.
  6. Helmet appears to have some form of spacer on it behind the goggles, but I’ve only seen it evident in one photo. Jason noticed that. I suspect it might be where the strap connects.
  7. For the level two on the helmet... Reviewing photos I don't believe it to be work hat type suspension. From the images of the helmet lying on the ground, it appears to be foam padded helmet lining. It appears to lay flat on the helmet. Similar to motorcycle lining.,
  8. That would make sense, and that would also explain in what way the goggles are "permanently" mounted.
  9. I also think the telemetry unit is a different color than the helmet and armor. Those appear anthracite, while the unit appears to be flat black. It appears a few shades darker than the armor.
  10. I know many went with Montana Gold Anthricite for Aldhani, or at least it was discussed,
  11. Haven't looked to deeply at the colors yet. Is the helmet the same color as Aldhani which is almost an Anthricite dark dark grey/black, or is is flat black?
  12. Do you think the black trim should be Level two, as it's that "extra mile" and likely a hero variant anyways?
  13. One last thing and I'm done... going back and looking at the helmets from Aldhani... is it possible the the edges on the helmet are not molded on, but are instead a plastic or rubber trim? Looking at this photo, It appears that there is some separation between the trim and the helmet.
  14. Looks good to me. Is it just me or does the lens in those goggles appear to be dark green? Actually, I'm starting to think the goggle lens inserts are dark green like traditional TKs. You can see it on the trooper on the right, as well as the previous photo.
  15. A possible chin cup candidate here. The strap rests similar on the cup when compared to what's on screen. It's a cricket chin cup, which since the filming was done in england/scotland, I'd be inclined to say would be a more likely off the shelf option.
  16. I'll keep looking into the chin strap thing. Honestly from what we know about SW, they take off the shelf when they can. Not disputing that the cup was cast, and it very well may have been, but I just would be surprised if they didn't look for an off the shelf option. As you stated though, I think a day is all needed on the bucket. Pretty cut and dry.
  17. Has the chin cup been identified? It appears to be just a run of the mill Rawlings chin cup.
  18. Ive had no luck on any other side profile shots. All the shots like that are out of focus as they are all background charachters in them. I don't know that a side profile shot will add much more than what you've already got. The helmet seems pretty cut and dry.
