Hey Chaos, thank you so much for the reply! Yeah, my pictures are kinda wonky. I will attempt to take better ones tomorrow and post here with a bit more specifics. Armor material wise, it was made by the 850 Armor Works and is Vacuum Formed Fiberglass like. Again, will post better pictures tomorrow!

Hello again Spec Ops! After a ton of work, my Death Trooper costume (level 2) is juuuuuust about finished. 😁 Check out the entire rig (minus boots and undersuit, I was cleaning them!) 😊 That said, it definitely needs some last minute touch ups/fitting. I figured before I took to cutting my expensive armor, I'd ask here first for tips/tricks. As seen in the images below, my leg armor is far too long and also does not close around my calves. Should I contact my local Garrison for help (they actually sent me over here for help/tips) or can I re-size myself with some sense of ease? Leg armor currently does not wrap around leg. How to I extend the armor coverage? I assume Velcro? Leg Armor comes down too far over ankle. What's the best wazy to cut/resize? I have a Dremel, but would like some expert knowledge before attempting! Any help would be awesome, thank you all again so much for all the help!

Hello everyone! You may remember me from over a year ago (lol) from this thread announcing that I was an aspiring new Death Trooper. I am happy to report that after a year and then some I have everything purchased for a full Death Trooper specialist kit! I have also painted to the CL standard (hopefully!) and am ready to wear this bad boy at this year's PAX West if all goes well! I will also contact my local Garrison "Titan" and submit my armor for 501st inspection/approval once I have everything 100% sorted. Firstly, a huge thanks to 850th Armor Works, Sheev's Emporium and UKswrath for making this dream a reality! ((Undersuit, chest rig, pauldron, magazines and boots are in the chest lol. This picture was taken before I glossed/painted the armor to CL standards. Right now everything is outside drying. 😁 I also need to wire the helmet.)) Also quick question as I did not see anything in the approved vendors section. Does anyone here know of a good place to get magazine pouch armor plates? Searched everywhere and haven't seen anyone making/selling them. :C
