  1. Update: I reached out and got in touch with Walt… we connected and reviewed some images I sent him and determined it was not his kit but an old ATA kit…Sadly the maker of these kits has become one with the force and will not be able to get pieces from the original maker. However, Walt is going to hook me up with some plastic seam cover strips and some new shoulder bells, ( the originals has some very thin areas around the edges that are already showing signs of stress from trimming). Question for those in the know: Are the ATA kits still approvable? I’m hoping that the new shoulder bells will not be to big of a difference in depth of color and gloss. I had never even heard of ATA before Walt gave me a quick rundown on the kits origin. Any advice/info is appreciated. sincerely, Mat 31911
  2. Thank you! I do have a couple of quick questions, though: this kit came without instructions and also did not come with any of the seam cover strips for the legs and arms. I know it’s a WTF, PVC kit, is there a source for this black PVC strip material that I might be able to get locally versus trying to purchase it online? I will try to reach out to the maker of this kit again,to see if there’s a way I can get a sheet of this material from them. Just want to explore my options. Second question: how do you differentiate the left from the right pieces of the forearms and lower leg portions? Nothing’s really labeled, so I’ve been going by intuition and what I’ve been seeing as examples on YouTube videos and build threads. Mat
  3. Greeting all! Excited to get started on this Shadow Trooper build. Please bear with me, as this is my first full armor build. I received this Walt’s Trooper Factory kit from a fellow 501st member and have been doing a little trimming and a lot of reading in preparation. I’ll get some photos loaded up when I get back home. Any advice, tips, tricks to make this process go smoothly would be appreciated. Leave any comments here, or PM me if you would prefer. Thanks in advance, (photos will be posted up as soon as I have some decent images worthy enough to share). from the shadows we come forth for the Empire! 31911 Mat
