Rennny
A quick question before I stop trimming all the wrong things! Now I'll go ahead and state that I'm way too small/skinny to be a trooper so there's gonna be tons of fitting! Now, with the shins: They're much too big for me, but I have to keep the top part to look correct yes? So would I trim from the red circle on the bottom? and for the forearms: If I trim from either side I would start to cut into the raised up part. So would I actuall trim that piece or should I leave that front piece alone and trim up the back piece to to where it would contour to my arm better? (follow the curve or just trim it straight? ie: Thanks! Link to comment
Griffin-X[501st]
Box party! Typically you would trim the shins from the bottom up, depending on your size/build. It may help to look at another members WIP to get some ideas. Take a peek over at Trooper's build and see if this helps. http://forum.specops501st.com/index.php?/topic/1481-shadow-stormtrooper-build/page__p__22141&do=findComment&comment=22141 Link to comment
Rennny
Yeah, wish I knew more people in the area for a box party :') and for the shin I figured as much. Mainly worried about how to trim the forearms cause I don't wanna derp it up by cutting into the area with the bumps in it if I'm not supposed to be. Link to comment

You can use painter's tape to mark what you want to trim. Maybe post a pic before you actually cut and we'll all try to guide you. Link to comment
Darth Emphatic[CMD-DWM]
WIP threads will help a lot. I had to do a decent amount of trimming as well. Most kits are really built for the 6'1'' frame. For the calfs, just trim to a good height maintaining a similar shape. For the for-arms, I suggest starting at the part that hits your elbow to do your trimming. Link to comment
Rennny
Progress! The first cut was nerve-racking but I think I managed to do okay. Second cut turned out a little bad cause I went a little too fast figuring my first cut was okay, sanded it down a little and it looked alright. Finished and taped! Whoop Link to comment
Darth Emphatic[CMD-DWM]
Nicely done, looking much better. Always take your time with the cuts and go a little at a time. Much easier to take some off than try to put some back. Link to comment
Rennny
Small Update! With some help from a good friend: Unfortunately no progress pics since he helped do most of it =( Link to comment
Darth Emphatic[CMD-DWM]
Hey, bucket is the hardest part, clear sailing from here . Looks like you put the liner clips in upside down like I did, is that right? Link to comment

Darth Agnon[501st]
Everything is looking good! You'll need to remove the blue tube stripes though. The CRL's only call for black. http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TX_shadow_stormtrooper Link to comment
