thelawnz
I guess it's past time that I started a build thread. I got some progress done over Winter break, but recently I've been overwhelmed by everything. It'll be good to start working on this again. So far I have the bulk of the helmet and a bicep. My friend who has more experience in building helped me with those. My pictures can be found here: http://s751.photobucket.com/user/thelawnz/library/Shadowtrooper The next step now is to finish the other bicep and to get better lenses for the helmet. (Edit to make the link to a photobucket album) Link to comment

Thanks for the help Todd! I'll do that as I progress! Thats a good start Lonnie. What color lens are you going with? Looking forward to more photo's. Scott, I'm thinking either smoke or black. I heard somewhere that welding glass can be a good lens, but I'm not exactly sure what shade to get or how to cut it. Link to comment
mikedwelle94[TX]
Glad to see this thread start. Good progress on the helmet so far. My spring break just started so I should be available to lend a hand if needed, just give me a shout. Link to comment

thelawnz
I added a few more photos to the album. A couple of our shoulder bell and bicep setup and a few from fitting the torso pieces. Recently my friend and I have been working on fitting the torso pieces. We bought some pipe insallation to use as padding, and we put it in the biceps to keep them from moving about. We also got knee pads that fit really well within the shoulder bells and rigged some velcro to attach. Today we are using a heat gun to match the back of the thighs up because the inside was too tall. Link to comment
