ok what about gloves? and a neckseal. i figured i could try ebay for a neckseal and gloves but wasnt sure what would be the best to get.

I have a pretty good source for gloves. If you want the info PM me. They resemble nomex flight gloves, only are cheaper.

I know a few guys use the nomex, but I thought the crl says no patterns or fancy stitching. Is the LMO ok with Nomex gloves?

There isn't enough decorative stitching to disqualify the gloves. That generally means top ribbing and such. Having a single leather stripe and buckle down the part of the glove that is hidden buy the forearm isn't an issue, and neither is the leather palm.
