Armor thickness

Good Morning to all,

 

I am very new to this detachment, so first of all, I am so excited to start my first kit. I am from San Diego and can't wait to troop. I have a basic question: for approval which is better: 1.5 or 2 mm ABS for a Shadow Trooper?

It is all about look. Thinner is lighter but thicker holds up better. My preference is for thicker so you can get more wear out of it, sand if you need to at some point...just kore versitile.

Thinner allows for crisper details, but Steve is correct about durability.

Good point todd. That's a key distinction that shouldn't be overlooked. Generally, i wouldnt expect a huge difference between 1.5mm and 2mm. Once you get to 3mm it shows.
