Question about DLT-20A

So I'm seeing that with the new box set out, they are now calling the magma trooper a crimson trooper. And with the new name comes a new weapon. This weapon looks awesome. It looks like the DLT-20A if I'm not mistaken.

 

My question is, what are the chances of the DLT-20A becoming 501st approved? I would love to be able to carry this

A non action figure reference is going to be key. That comes and it will be easy to get it 501st approvable.
