Hi guys. Just bought first-ever kit through Walt (WTF). Red Magma Trooper. I know I need to buy some grey and black paint. My question is: do I need to buy any RED paint? In other words, does this kit need a full layer of red before anything else?

Pretty sure walts kit is pulled in red (what makes it great), but youll still need red paint to do the boots

Hi Greg. I was looking at those. Was a little worried because they're from China. Did you have any issues with them?

Imperial boots are good quality and good service. Francois, who runs it, is a stand-up guy. The magma boots have a slight orange tint to them compared to the armor, but I think it looks fine.

Agreed, he's doing a great job on all sorts of boots. His TFA boots rock too.

Thanks guys. What's the turnaround time like? They're not taking orders right now. But when they do, how did it take to get your boots/shoes?

Love my boots but you have to order 1 size up very pleased with them all their ordering details are on the site another plus is your botts come in cloth bags so you don't scratch your armor

Yep, it is a good source, but from what I heard last, they are on back order, so it depends how soon boots are wanted/needed. Painting is still an option and can result in a closer color match.

Does anyone have WTF armor and Imperial Magma boots? Trying to decide if I should buy them now or wait until François gets walts sample plastic to match.
