Phase III Dark Trooper Armor

Hey Izzi,

I was thinking about someday doing the Phase III Dark Trooper but I need to know if craft foam armor would be acceptable. Here is an example I found of what I would like to try if it's acceptable.

It all depends on the finished product and the LMO with input from the GMLs. If it doesn't look like craft foam in the end, then I don't see a problem.

Oh...I can tell this is guna be cool....

Ok cool. I guess this guy also used some type of foam floor mats from walmart. He recommends using a gloss varnish to get a good glossy finish on armor so I'll definately give it a try. If all else fails I might go with resin and bondo. I saw a set of cosplay armor made from bondo but I worry about the overall weight. Here's another great example of the floor mat/foam technique.
