ACJay[501st]
Hey Izzi, I was thinking about someday doing the Phase III Dark Trooper but I need to know if craft foam armor would be acceptable. Here is an example I found of what I would like to try if it's acceptable. http://www.fullmetalsam.com/album/photo-gallery-robo-completed/#otakuthon2010-samedi-143-copy-jpg Thanks Link to comment
izzi[TX]
It all depends on the finished product and the LMO with input from the GMLs. If it doesn't look like craft foam in the end, then I don't see a problem. -iz Link to comment

ACJay[501st]
Ok cool. I guess this guy also used some type of foam floor mats from walmart. He recommends using a gloss varnish to get a good glossy finish on armor so I'll definately give it a try. If all else fails I might go with resin and bondo. I saw a set of cosplay armor made from bondo but I worry about the overall weight. Here's another great example of the floor mat/foam technique. Thanks again Izz http://files.fullmetalsam.com/system_preview_200001402-1bf021cea2-public/Terminator%20-%20Consplayers%20-%20002.jpg Link to comment
