DLT-19 Sling

Ok, I am thinking about getting a DLT-19 with scope to add to my shadow scout. What are the general thoughts about adding a sling to it?

That usually depends on the weight of the piece but I know more than a few troopers who have a sling on their DLT-19's to give them some support during long troops.

I just use mine at parade rest as a tripod and lean on it. You'll see half the pics I take are at parade rest with the rifle in front of me.
