Would I be correct in saying that attaching the forearms to the biceps using a strap would prevent approval? Working on my rigging right now and trying to figure everything out.

thats a good question. I don't think they used strapping in any of the celebration pics I've seen . But I would think that if you absolutely needed it to make it functional it may be acceptable. However, you can just as easily use foam inside the forearm to secure it from moving so a strap shouldn't really be needed.
