christopherskog
Looking to see if anyone knows where to get the actual metal V Ring buckles that are on the the lower left sides of the chest armor and the buckles on both shoulder holding the rubber strapping? I have attached a picture pointing them out. Link to comment
Tromac
Good question and one I am interested in knowing the answer to as well. I did find one seller on Etsy but curious if there are others. https://www.etsy.com/shop/plasticarmsdealer Link to comment
nanotek[CMD-DWM]
I think someone found them, however they are really heavy. They were possibly looking at recasting it in aluminium but I don't think it happened. You will have to trawl through the research thread to find the post. I don't know anyone who offers them cast in any metal. Seems to be some rubber ones I think? Sorry just read you were after both too and bottom sets. The top ones the d-rings are available through a couple of people. The buckle is an ejection seat harness buckle. I got mine through eBay. The bottom ones as above Link to comment
Jedi_Outcast77[TX]
The screen accurate shoulder buckles are a two-part item. The clip (upper part) is from an ejection seat harness used by the British Air Force. There are only two websites that sell them. One doesn't ship internationally and the other never has them in stock. The lower part is a v-ring. Not sure if the actual ring was found but replicas are available in aluminum.
