Is the ANOVOS helmet the best, or overpriced?

I looking into the various helmet options and have found these possiblities:

The ANOVOS looks really nice but is considerably more expensive. I can afford it, but before I pull the trigger just want to know if it really is worth the extra cost. Thanks for any advice!

The short answer is yes it is the best and totally worth it.

 

The long answer is it depends on whether your head will fit inside of it and if you can actually find on. Most people go with other helmets because of cost, others because they physically can't fit the anovos on their head. I would not order one directly from anovos though, particularly the specialist, because you'll never receive it.

 

Find someone who has an anovos and try it on. If it fits, track one down and buy it. You'll need to look for one secondhand at this point. Try eBay, this forum, and the various DT and anovos groups on Facebook.

are all anovos helmets standard size?? i have a shadow trooper that fits me so im guessing its safe to buy the DT specialist one??

They do not all fit the same.  The shadow trooper is a standard tk helmet and will likely fit a much wider range of heads than the death trooper will.  The DT is definitely smaller.  With that said, If you can fit into an anovos that is the helmet to buy.  Too many bobble heads.
