Oki[501st]
Hi, I am a stormtrooper who is currently looking forward to build this impressive armor. My first step in which I am now working would be to identify a good armor kit. I assume a plastic one would be the best option for me as my budget is not high enough for fiberglass. Looking around I found the etsy kits being created by armoryshop and the work looks nice. I would like to ask if you know about this vendor and the armor. Does it fit all requirements needed? How is its quality? I would like to be sure about spending money in a good article. Thanks in advance for your support Link to comment
nanotek[CMD-DWM]
Hi Oki My kit is the ArmoryShop raw kit. There is A LOT of work involved in getting to an approvable state. I have seen all the different kits on offer and at the time I was buying, that one was the most accurate. I hope that answers your questions. Feel free to hit me up if you would like to discuss more Link to comment

Duvensjo[501st]
Hola, I got my Armoryshop raw kit approved May 1 2018. It was A LOT OF job with putty and grinding for finishing but the details are better than in the vacuumed ones. So for your questions: Q: Looking around I found the etsy kits being created by armoryshop and the work looks nice. A: Yes, its really nice looking. Since it printed it's gonna be heavier than a TK though. My chestpieces probably weighs more than a whole TK... Q: I would like to ask if you know about this vendor and the armor. A: Denis is a great guy. Very service minded but the delivery times are long due to a lot of different incurred circumstances. But keep a dialogue with him on FB. I ordered my kit in july/august and git it end of december. Q: Does it fit all requirements needed? A: Yes and no, a lot of his armors are approved, but not without a lot of work. He modifies his kits to adapt to the CRL though. If you buy it finished it should be OK, but then you have to be careful with measuring since he's printing it according to your size. Q:How is its quality? I would like to be sure about spending money in a good article. A: I'm satisfied, but I havent comaperd it to 850s, PlasticArmsDealer or Tripons kit on the other hand. They also seems great! Good luck! Link to comment
Oki[501st]
Thank you very much for your answers. Looks like I am going to proceed purchasing the armor to Armoryshop as per your suggestion. How is looking the already finnished 3d printed parts? Are 3d printer scars treated and smoothed with good looking results? That one would be the most important point for me as would decide if I either buy de kit and work on eliminating all printing scars by myself or I proceed buying some of the armor parts already finnished. Thanks so much Link to comment
