Carson Zeller
Hello! My name’s Carson Zeller, I’m 17 (will be 18 in April of 2020) and I’ve been looking into building a suit for a while now. Naturally I settled on a Death Trooper since I’m a little...obsessed...with them. I do toy photography, as you can see on my Instagram *HERE* and I mainly take pictures of Death Troopers. I’ve seen a lot of distributors who make the suits and soft parts. As a high school I don’t have the best income, although I do work two jobs and pull in a good amount. Currently I’ve settled on a few different distributors... First off, for the armor, I’ve found 850 Armor Works, seen *HERE* which is where I could get a finished suit and helmet, which could be measured to my body. I’m 5’10” but they can make it work. For the undersuit and boots and soft parts, I’ve found Imperial Boots, seen *HERE* which has a nice little combo deal with everything I’d need. Finally, the weapon. Obviously a good start would be the E-11D, seen *HERE* as a finished kit from Imperial Arms 3D. Obviously later down the road I could get the pistol or the long range blaster or turn my suit into a specialist. But right now, just the basics. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks! I appreciate it and look forward to joining the 501st some day soon! Link to comment
Church113
I got the soft armor set from imperial boots and was very pleased with what I got. The boots are very comfortable and everything else fits perfectly. Plastic arms dealer is where I got my helmet and is a good source for weapons and armor but 850 armor works makes really nice armor as well. Be sure to look around through the forum especially if you wanna upgrade to a specialist variant. Finding a suitable chest rig can be a pain. Good luck!! Link to comment

TheAstroBot
A bit of a latecomer for any suggestions, but for your soft goods, you could go for The Darkside Closet (Linked Here) for your Undersuit, and still do Imperial Boots for your... Well, Boots, given they make boots that are closest to screen accurate from what I know. You'd likely save a substantial amount but still get what you're looking for, since you don't need some stuff like a pair of gloves (The 850 Finished comes with Gloves), and The Darkside Closet does something closer to pants as opposed to the shorts and separate knee gaskets of the IB stuff- This of course comes down to your preference on the matter. Hope this helps! Link to comment
