wilsoncai[501st]
Hey everyone, So I have heard that Akira, a buddy of mine who's a modeller for one of the 3D Sith Trooper Helmet used by some of the members aren't Accurate due to it's roundness. I read that some members have tried to contact him to ask him to fix it but get no response. https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/art/other/star-wars-ep9-sith-trooper-helmet-cosplay?fbclid=IwAR1mmgKPsamzHSMGMFXf85mI6M4Jh8Cj9GSRuaTI5E5WiIvLK7t2yHRkyEY Well I'm glad the world is small and well connected and knowing him personally, I was able to reach out to him to fix his helmet. The file have been updated. Do get your Latest update. As seen in the pic below: If you have any other feedback, feel free to get through me for the quickest mode of communications. Cheers Team! Thank Hey Wilson, thanks for reaching out. Personally, I'm not really in a position where I can spend hours looking over files to give advice for someone to make a profit. My focus is trying to get all the details out of the reference material to form the basis of the CRL, which is incredibly time consuming! Initially I was involved providing advice to a host of different projects, but I found that it was too time consuming and often the modellers just don't get it, so I started my own long term project to model the character myself. The time it takes me to explain something is more time than it takes to model it! At a glance the files look good. The best advice I can give you is to go through all of the reference materials and try to match them against the files. A way of doing this is using something like Fusion 360 to import the STL where you can angle the piece to match reference pics using overlay. Where possible use the CRL development threads to get the details. Sorry I cannot be of more help 1 Link to comment

Sorry I cannot be of more help That's totally cool buddy :D and thanks for the insights ;) I think Akira wants to be able to provide at least a very well detailed and CRL approved costume options out there. I will stick closely to your research and as suggested get Akira to overlay them over to those images ;) 1 Link to comment

Catevari[TX]
Was actually just looking at these files after picking up the FOTK ones by Akira also, @wilsoncai. Been contemplating and trying to compare them to the CRL files. Looks like its fairly close. Going to send you a PM with a question via the FOTK but I look forward to snagging the Sith Trooper soon Link to comment
