Panzerjunky
I'm sorry should have added this to the last question but..... what color is accepted for the lenses on the AUX barrels ( This is what its called in my STL file anyway) The lights or what ever they are that hang below the main barrel. I was seeing Gloss white ? as well as the main Optic can the lenses be white or clear any preferences? Thanks Jerry Link to comment
DHKnecht
From the CRL (update): Specialist Long Range Blaster Rifle ● Modified DLT-19 ● Fitted with telescopic scope. A resin cast or equivalent is acceptable. ● Has two tactical spotlight like devices fitted via scope mounts under the flash suppressor. Resin casts or equivalent are acceptable. o These devices are connected to the main body of the rifle via piping that runs along the barrel ● This rifle is not fitted with the M300 tactical light that is seen on the E-11D ● Black in color the rifle may be weathered. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): ● The two tactical spotlight like devices are operational and illuminate white. Therefore, since they "illuminate white", a glass lens with a white bulb, or a solid white lens, would seem to work. I don't believe they were ever shown on screen illuminated, but I could be wrong. At one point, it was rumored that those areas were some type of flame thrower, which fits with the fires seen after they raze the Erso home, but again, that was never seen on screen. (Otherwise, that's some highly specialized piping and detailed, non-symmetric cylinders hovering just below the front of the barrel, too much so to just be lights). Good luck! 1 Link to comment

Yes sir and That is my Problem with this CRL. No one Knows what they are never seen them lighted up in rouge one or in Mando. '"Yet" they are called " light like" in the crl so if you don't know what it actually is then why assign a specific CRL requirement To get Level 2. your asking for a feature that may or may not be correct and I am leaning more to the incorrect . If I was a betting man I would suspect them to be targeting devises. Most likely some kind of FLIR, That dose not project light , if they were infrared then the IR illuminator would be red. So I feel that Level 2 Req to be lighted should be retracted until They know for sure. one less thing to figure out for level 2 . The boots are bad enough . Just a thought Jerry Link to comment
Chaos[CMD-DCA]
Good day, early on in the original CRL development there were several discussions about the heavy blaster and what exactly was the function of the two devices under the main barrel. A decision that the devices were lighting was made base upon two sources. One was from Victor, an actor who played a DT in R1 that they were flashlights. Both the DLT19 and E11D had flashlights. They were turned on during the night storm seen at the Eadu research facility. Take a look at the DTs in the back ground, two are carrying the DLT19 and both appear to be illuminated. This confirms what Victor told us. Hope this answers your question. Best of luck on your build. I too am reworking my original build to Level 2 requirements. DLT19X https://imgur.com/gallery/aq1LYlm Weapons are not a requirement for 501st approval, so if you are trying for Level 2 you don't need the DLT19 as it is listed as "optional accessories" it will not be a show stopper for you. 1 1 Link to comment

The thing with L2 is to take the costume to the next level and as close/if not the same as the production assets; striving for that sometimes requires extra work or means or procuring replicas or actual material; often which may not be easy 1 Link to comment
