keep your scrap in case you ever want to build a shadow scout helmet or repair a broken part on your armor.

Scrap ABS parts + Acetone = ABS paste !

Got some trimming done today. Chest plate and hand guards. Here's the tools I used.

I will be doing the same strapping as I did for my TK for hand guards.

That was the best part of having a TK and going to a TX as well, used the same cuts and measurements and it made it 10 times easier

For real. I feel this one will be so much faster and better done then my TK. Only difference so far I noticed is the black ABS kind of gets hotter and smokes. I had to stop because I know I shouldn't be smelling these fumes. Going to get a new mask tomorrow.

What did you guys use for the chest to back strap?

I used a T-shaped strap with Velcro on all 3 ends and then used a velcro/elastic combo over top of that to tie both pieces together (chest and back).

Specialist means you build with the extra details found on the CRL (the blue text) in mind.  There a variety of things but all of it is found in the CRL Level 2 blue text standards.

Here you go:

I have a T-strap of nylon which has Veclro on each end and then a third elastic strap that comes out to attach to my shoulder bell. There is another elastic strap with two Velcro ends which go on top of the aforementioned T-strap. You can see it layered here. You could probably achieve it all with one strap but the L2 details for that state the following:

• Chest and back shall be connected with a black fabric (preferably elastic) that does not stick out or show under the shoulder plastic straps.

Man thanks this was exactly what I was looking for. I was thinking of doing snaps though for the chest to back plate. Like my TK is this acceptable but with black strap of course.

Just a little needs to be taken off the back arms and get rid of a little more return edge.

Yep, I found out that I had to take more of that bicep down with the Anovos kit (all 3 of em).

Yea this kit will fit way better then my TK Anovos and be way more comfortable. Only leaving a little of the return edge.
