Rogue One Style Shadow Stormtrooper

Is Rogue One style armour allowed for Shadow Trooper 501st approval? It is not specified in the CRL for the Shadow Stormtrooper about if Rogue One style armour is not allowed for approval.

good question. the details of the crl are anh details and so it’s implied.  rogue one armor will have details in most parts that will not align w/ the crl.  examples...engraved blue tube stripes on helmet, beveled cover strips, shoulder straps inserting into chest plate etc.

you will need to get a traditional tk kit to do a shadow. hope that helps

What David said is correct. We make reference to ANH TK in the CRL itself, and the R1 TK has the details that David mentioned plus more (e.g., trauma plate on back, back/chest attach at sides, etc.)

Yeah, totally agree with the above. I would love to see the new style armour start getting applied to some of our costumes. Our best hope will lay with all the new live action series like Mandalorian etc ?

Aww dang that is unfortunate. I would love to see Rogue One style shadow troopers I think they would look really cool. Thanks for telling me this you guys! It helps a ton!
