Cdraudt17
I just got my kit in the mail. It is partially trimmed and the helmet was roughly put together. The faceplate and visor look like they were attached a little too far forward, leaving a biting a gap. There is also a gap and a little bit of warpage there the dome is attached. I realize I will have to bondo the back seam, but is the rest salvageable for approval? Link to comment
Gree23[CMD-DCA]
So technically you dont have to fill that cap seam for approval. As far as the face plate goes, you can take a square of abs and put it on the inside of the helmet and create a new attachment point for the face plate, this will pull it in and align it better to the dome. Definitely a salvageable helmet no doubt 1 1 Link to comment
