pyro[TX]
That’s what I originally thought, but then someone mentioned it being a thin rubber belt. Link to comment
Tal Skirata[TX]
I mentioned it’s a thin rubber with vertical ribs and I was involved in some of the development and filming on these costumes. I try to avoid posting behind the scenes pics to avoid getting myself into any trouble but I’ll put the discussion to rest, please try to keep this to the forum and other private forums as best as possible. 5 Link to comment

pyro[TX]
Now how difficult will it be to source that belt? Maybe make the rubber belt a lvl 2 requirement? Link to comment

Can you confirm that the boots are jackboots? Like the ones for the Security Trooper. Link to comment
Tarrif[TX]
I'm not sure if this is what's actually used in the show, but it looks very similar in sum & substance. https://a.co/d/c3JKmT6 You just have to cut it to 50mm - 55mm wide and whatever length fits. What do you think? Link to comment
Deamos
Those ribbed rubber drawer liners look like they fit the bill. Only concern is some of the listings on Amazon / ebay etc. are very ambiguous on which direction the grooves go. So may have to end up getting a larger square piece than needed say 2mx2m so the orientation can be played with to cut the strips correctly. Something like this would get up to 4 belts from it or more depending on groove orientation. Camthorne Fine Ribbed Rubber Matting - 2.5m x 1m x 3mm - Anti-Slip, Waterproof, Fluted Multi-Purpose Flooring : Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools Link to comment

Thank to the Amazon return policy I ordered five different types and will keep the one that best fits the description. 1 Link to comment
