First Shadow scout WIP

Currently WIP for a shadow scout costume. This is both my first shadow scout and my first costume ever. I am super excited. What i got left is I need to attach the detonator (just the 2 zip ties) and the holster to the boot just the 4 rivets. For the shoulder bells any recommendations for keeping the bells from drooping away if I decide to not attach them to the chest/back armor at the seam (Tstrap assembly). Sorry for low quality image. The 500kb is a bit limiting xD I'll try in higher resolution. Lastly any initial thoughts on looks? Thanks in advance!!

The right shoulder bell fell off cuz I tried the zip tie idea. Also I still need the vest between the armor and the flight suit. XD

You´re on the right track -the pics are a bit blurry for me to see the details, but nice work so far.

It is a good thing to go point by point 

As to the shoulder bells, the elastic around the upper arm should hold them in place, but from my own experience it is not enough - velcro on the flakvest sleeve could do the trick, but I would recommend you to use the t-strap (elastic) at the shoulder bridge loops for security, then you´ll not loose them.
 

Your pouches will need some filling as they do not hang loose like the snowtroopers does. Most use some sort of stabil insert box for them.

Thank you for your advice. The Flak vest I didn't think about that's a fantastic idea. The pouches my gf also said I need to put inserts. Would just cutting cardboard and making a diy box (I have enough card board to build a house) work?

Oh also, the bottom of the knee armor rests against the very top of my Shin, can I put foam or something because it is plastic resting against bone?

You´re welcome, that is why we are here - to help, and yes cardboard works fine, I wrapped mine with lots of gaffa tape to make them more sturdy and "waterproof" LOL 

Yes, I have foam on my knee armor, due to the same problem, as long as it is not noticeable.
