DeathTrooperIAm's Death Trooper Work In Progress

Recommended Posts

Hello, my name is Preston and I live in Arizona (which means my garrison would be Dune Sea Garrison). Also I'm very new to the Spec Ops forums. I'm currently working on saving the rest of my money needed for my Death Trooper armor and soft parts. It's my dream to be a Death Trooper! I plan to get my armor from 850 Armor Works and have someone to help me build it, but I am not sure where to get the soft parts (gloves, under suit, and boots).

Here's something to know about me: I am a short, but not too short man with a slim build (which I think will work perfect since DTs are slim). I do know that 850 Armor Works can make kits for short people, however I would like to know if vendors for soft parts will be able to make the under suit for someone who's a bit small like me because I know that some vendors only make kits or under suits for taller people.

Last question, would the 501st or Spec Ops be okay with a short Death Trooper?

I am a local DSG member currently working on a DT, also from 850. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you are looking for help! As for height, theres no height requirement for the DT, but if you are worried about getting called “a little short for a stormtrooper” the easiest thing you can do is wear lifts in your boots and/or pad your helmet so it sits a little higher. Then again, you should be fine either way.

Jim Tripon has a tailor who makes under suits to a person's measurements.

Thank you very much for this information, I think I may have heard of his name. Is the best place to reach out to him on Facebook, or do you have another way of contacting him?

Thank you, I actually think it's comical when I think about being "a little short for a stormtrooper" haha! I am glad to hear there is no height requirement. Thank you for the tips on lifts and extra padding.
