Thanks. She is way smaller than me so this will be an interesting mod. She is between kids size armor and adult. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So long time no post on this but I am currently helping a local trooper join the group. Funny thing is they are smaller than me! Well we did some measurements and such trying to figure things out. We are trucking along and such but her helmet fits perfectly. So she wanted to become a nova! I found the right paint and got to work Here are the pics I have so far right now. ATA Shadow trooper O2 canister/ Thermal detonator
Scubacat replied to YourValkryie's topic in Shadow Stormtrooper
I want to say the pipe is about 3†but I could be wrong. I can measure my kit when I get home, though mine is an AM armor kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Would you be able to post up a pic of the area you are talking about? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am going to see if others chime in on this though to get a more definitive answer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What may help is cutting the excess from the top parts where the straps sit and bringing them up closer. I had the same problem with My shoretrooper when I started working on it along with my shadow stormtrooper. I am really small compared to the armor dimensions. I would check with others though to see what they did. I saw you posted on the FB page as well about this problem. In reality, the straps will be over the tabs and I feel this may help. I am posting up a few of these examples. Hopefully they help. Also using Mike as an example. And here is mike where it shows the front. You want the kit to fit and once the helmet is on, more will be covered. Hopefully all of this helps. Before you cut anything, try seeing where things sit if you overlap. Yeah I know what you mean. I am planning on using ABS tubes. Luckily, I work at a plumbing supply warehouse and we get tons that gets broken and such. I just need to figure out what the outside diameter of the three tubes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't have the tanks yet, but even though I really wanted to fully 3D print them, I think the way to go will be to build them from scratch. That way I can size the tanks to my body size. I am 5'8†by the way and skinny as a rail. I weigh about 127 lbs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And this is with my friend's helmet on. I have the same helmet at my home, mine just isn't finished like his. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah I have a long way to go but I am closer now to a lot of things. This was just trying on the armor to see where I sit with mods and such. There was one previous wearer and he only wore it 3 times. Armor is 850 and helmet of mine is skygunbros, but not the helmet pictured. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well......I started a thing and I am far closer than I ever thought I would get to this. Also mind you, the helmet is not mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think most people just do the T strap method. I am not sure if things would show if you did that or not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi there Knowlan! Welcome to Spec Ops! Glad to have you with us! That is a great kit and I think it isn't shown or made often. I myself am making one shortly and I am close to the end actually. Please feel free to look at the tops and tricks on the armor building section. Have you also joined the Facebook group? If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask us on here We would be very willing and happy to help you out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Saw the shoretrooper parts right away since I am almost finished building mine. Might have to cannibalize mine to make one of these. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New CRL Proposal - Lieutenant Janek Sunber (SW:E)
Scubacat replied to Tarrif's topic in Lieutenant Janek Sunber
For the MOLLE Strobe pouch , I feel that those are the closest match for the bottom pics shown, especially the left one with his back to us. It is clearly defined. I like the others though for a level one approval. The look great!- 119 replies

Welcome aboard brother!!! I can't wait to see this build! As always, my house is open to help you in the build. On a side note, my bro here lives in the same state, so no special DL assistance here. Lol.
