Excellent use of those molds! Everything looks better in black. Now.... *waves hand* ....you will show us a red one.

Nice setup you got there. Good luck trying to squeeze that into your signature.

Going to insert my $0.02 here, just because this thread has been brought back up. I like to think there's already a bunch of approved Storm Commandos running around. They're so similar to the black scouts in a lot of ways...

Congratulations Torri!!!

Not *yet*, Derek. -
Pics or it didn't happen! You may benefit from reading through some build threads here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/127-anh-blastech-e11/

As long as you can tuck them in to your forearm pieces, they would probably pass. But I wouldn't wear them. They're way too long. Look for something like this: http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/9691/stormtrooperglovesrubbe.jpg

Nice progress...can't wait to see more.

Progress! In case you're wondering what's going on with my TX, I'm waiting for the temperatures to warm up so I can comfortably work in the garage with bondo. There's a repair I need to make to some thigh armor. -
Look for Bass Amsterdam boots on Amazon. Cheap chemical gloves from the supermarket or hardware store are the most accurate option, but wear fabric gloves underneath so you don't bathe in sweat. You have the undersuit covered. You should also consider some flexible handguards, as they are noticeably more accurate. They won't come with your kit, unless it's RS or TM (both of which I doubt sell black kits) I can point you to some sellers, and some tutorials on how to paint them if you want to go that route. Phew...I hope I covered at least most of it. Good luck, and looking forward to seeing your progress start

Thanks Nick! I haven't gotten any negative feedback yet, so I'm probably going to get these plates clear coated tomorrow then move on to the collar and shoulders! -

Got to the painting and weathering of my chest plates. Posted on BHG and Mercs and looking for input before I apply the clear coat. -

I used an airsoft AK-47 for my base. http://www.ebay.com/...=item43c1d40b4d -
Oh yeah...I forgot you probably wouldn't understand all those acronyms yet Anyway, in simpler terms, your costume can't be approved at the local (Garrison) level, but rather by the Legion Membership Officers at the Legion level. Have fun trying to treat our wounds with your helmet on, btw. Don't let Vader catch you taking it off.

Glad you went with the TX. You're going to stand out in a sea of white :trooper: :trooper: The Medic armor is exactly the same as a Stormtrooper in structure. I would try to adhere to the referenced colors as much as possible, because your costume will be scrutinized by the LMO team before approval. I don't believe this is being approved at the GML level yet, because there aren't many of them. Last I heard, this is still the case for the red troopers, which look to be greater in number. And to answer your question about the paint, the CRL tells you exactly what shade you need: "The Novatrooper Medic red has been identified as Kirsch Red from Sherwin Williams: SW6313. RGB Value: R-154 | G-70 | B-80. Pantone code: 696c."

Got some stuff in the mail today. Pictured below is the WCA Deathwatch armor kit, with my painted Eternal Armory helmet. Time to get to work. -

Hi Scott and thanks! Unfortunately, I have not made much progress since my last update. I've filled a few of the damages with putty, but that's about it. Gonna wait for the weather to warm up before I break out the bondo. I'm dedicating my time to finishing a BH in time for a Mercs troop this June. -

Hey SpecOps!! I found something really cool in the mail today. I got the first pair of Karin S.' prototype red handguards and am super stoked. The color is a perfect match to my red ATA armor. I'm not sure when she plans to start selling these, but keep an eye out for em on FISD, as that's where she's active. She did a fantastic job on these and they were well worth the wait. -

$0? Not too shabby at all, and your end result looks pretty sweet. I've been doing mine off and on for a couple months now between other projects and I've probably spent close to $60 on it. But I don't have a lot of spare parts laying around most of the time. -
Awesome news! Congrats!

Glad to see this thread start. Good progress on the helmet so far. My spring break just started so I should be available to lend a hand if needed, just give me a shout.

Decided to get back to work on this while I wait for my Mandalorian armor kit. Not much I can do with the TX.. Vent holes cut out, rather sloppily. I'm going to be cleaning it up with some spot putty and will try to get some square corners (I know they should be round, but square is my personal preference). At the end of the barrel is a kitchen funnel that I cut up. It's held on with E6000 right now, but I'll be puttying that to the PVC soon enough. The "fuel canister" is an empty container of disposable wipes. One of my coworkers gave me a bunch of parts from an old sewing machine, as well as a few random bits of metal and plastic, which I'll be incorporating into the weapon. I'm still looking for some small ribbed tubing..can't seem to find any at Lowe's. And I apologize about where I've placed this topic..it just occured to me this was a "Non TX/Custom Creation" :laugh1:
