Make sure you paint your rivets.

Well, there is another new costume to add to the list

Yep, same here. Nothing that would truly ruin a costume, especially one that has so many psrts covered.

Awesome!

Hey man, I hope you get that table done. Thanks so much for making your files available.

Please post here for us to see
, but you'll need your GML to post it up on the legion forum. If you give me a chance to review here first, we can help make sure once it goes up on the legion forums, it should streamline through.

Great advice. I used the boil method as well.

Looking at the bucket, and you may be planning this already, the ears need to be formed to the tube more. Doesn't look like you've touched them yet, so I am assuming it's on your list, but better safe than sorry. For specialist, cover strips are acceptable.

My helmet came assembled, but I am going to make some modifications.
1. I am going to replace the eyes lenses with mirrored lenses;
2. Repaint the frown in a high coloured silver;
3. Repaint the Vocoder in the same silver as the frown;
4. Replace the blue tube striping with matt black tube striping ( I think the contrast will look great );
5. Take the decals off the traps and painting matt black, again for contrast;
6. Paint the ears a metallic grey; and
7. Replace the neck seal with an ' S ' seal, for Spec Ops clearance.
Ha, what do you need us for. I am only joking, but you just hit on everything I was going to suggest concerning the frown, the tube stripes, and traps, lol.
The next thing I would look into and this doesn't have to be done now, but work to replace the velcro with snap plates and web strapping. Velcro works, but eventually wears down and snap plates will become your friend
.
Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks, Jim. Great feedback.

The etsy pauldron looks similsr to ones I have seen on ebay that werent as nice. Now, i dont know the seller and it could be perfectly finen but that would be a risk you take.
-
Really, there shouldnt be an accent on the armor for it and the Pauldron should be black if you want the pauldron officially approvable.
-
It reall comes down to frown and lenses matching. You can take the vodocer out of it. Focus on matching the frown and the lense. Black on black or silver on silver.
-
Looking forward to seeing them in the bucket.

Snap systems are the way to go.

I think your right. Looks great!

I can see what you mean on the rough spot, but overall looks pretty good.

I hope things are looking up, Renata; and I am sorry if they are not. Hang in there.

Mardon, how did I miss your February updates. That is looking great! Can't wait to see the next progress photos.

do you have the measurements of whom this will fit? Thighs look pretty short ..
I am wondering if the pieces shown are already trimmed down for someone. They do look short in the thighs, for sure.

Took me a year and half to finish my first build. Real life can get in the way. You'll get there.
