  1. Here I will be posting the progress on the Imperial Supercommando armor!!! VID_24201029_222538_196.mp4
  2. It's been a very long road, but one that has taught me so much, and finally I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I rebuilt the model from scratch, adjusting it to fit human proportions more closely, and with a much cleaner topology. I'll begin a new thread with my WIP as suggested, where I will post progress on the 3d printing and overall process with the physical armor. Thanks a lot guys for all the help you've given me along the way. The list of things that are missing in my model are as follow: -Gauntlets -Backpack -Little detail bellow the belt -Figure out a way to make the belt more comfortable to put on
  3. Sure, no problem. But be warned, this was made for a mobile game, so the model loses a lot of its charm up close.
  4. @IcyTrooper this is the best video I could find in game: But I have some shots from the model I extracted:
  5. Here are some references I got from the files I extracted from the game.
  6. Not really, I'm making my model based on the references for the Force Arena version, because it's more "realistic" or at least less cartoonish
  7. But this would be considering the Rebels version? Because in the Force Arena version there's only Gar and Grunts. Also, I wanted to ask, should I post detailed renders of my model in this thread, or begin a new one?
  8. Almost done with the files. I'm really embarrased this has taken son long, the lockdown really hit me hard, but I'm expecting to have them ready before the year is over.
  9. It has it's advantages. For example you can make your armor fit you better, and is cheaper when no molds are available. But it can be quite time consuming
  10. 20+ hours for that part, plus 12 for the dome (printing right now), plus the antennas and the back panel. Overall a little bit over 1Kg
  11. I finally have the helmet ready for 3d printing. In the week I'll post pictures of the print.
  12. Yes I do! Well... the only detail missing are the teeth. It should be as accurate as possible, since I modeled it around the original game 3d model.
  13. Yeah, the helmet I made was for the cartoon version. I plan to finish first the Force Arena version first, it just looks better, and I have more references.
  14. At this point I'm kind of embarrased to keep posting progress over periods of over a year... but hey, worst is nothing. I think I've improved quite a bit since the last time I posted something, and this is the fully 3D printable armor chest that I recently have been modeling (still a WIP). And I wanted to share with you guys!
  15. Sorry for not answering soon. I don't want to abandon de Realistic version, but I think I'm going to focus for now on the cartoon one. This is the updated model with the teeth corrected. Do you think anything else should change before I begin printing? Thanks!!! Supercommando V4.mp4
  16. So... I finally am on vacations again, and modeled again the helmet. This one is for the cartoon version. Any feedback on regards of it's accuracy? I couldn't find a way to post the video of the turntable, so here's the link to the video in drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HB_Y4hS5pAt14sj4JnsID7INAbwE63Xv/view?usp=sharing
  17. Thanks @Raider I'll be waiting for his feedback. I am, kind of. Since I had the base mesh of the game, I used that as a rough start. But I had to do a lot afterwards. This is the texture map for the model, so it won't get more detailed than that. Hope it helps
  18. Well... I still have a long way to go in terms of modelling skills, but I think this one looks decent enough as a base shape.
  19. @Raider I am, mostly because I am 5'7" and Saxon is pretty tall. I know the Legion doesn't have a problem with that, but I don't like to wear armor for named characters that are way off my complexion or height. Yes, Saxon also comes with the helmet. It's basically the same as the grunt, with the paint job seen in rebels. Here he is
  20. What a coincidence ? Then I'm off to make the model. As a matter of fact, I do have references for those.
  21. So... Yeah, I haven't left this one to die yet. I am in the process of 3d printing the helmet again, with many improvements. I'll show it to you guys once I have it finished (hopefully before summer). However... I wasn't comfortable with the cartoonish style of the armor, and googling around, I found out that the Super Commandos were playable in the now defunct Force Arena game. And their look is just amazing. I was able to get the extracted 3D model and textures from the game, and render them. With this references would it be a 501st approvable armor? Thanks!!! And I hope that my next post is in less than a year XD
  22. Believe it or not, I'm still working on this XD
  23. Here's the current state of the helmet
  24. I just need to make the ears and we're all set!!!
