Good to see you back. My shoulders are static. I have thought about going for a spinning/bearing option, but then I put on a little weight and can't even fit in currently haha I was never able to find option that I thought was worth it yet as there was other projects happening.
-
Yes the hard parts are just one size. You should be fine on height as I am 6'2" and fit in my Anovos Shadow. The undersuit you would just need to get some compression type shirt and pants from a sporting goods store or Amazon. Just needs to be back with no logos or colored stitching that will show from under the armor.

Oh that's a neat way to do it. I glued the fingers onto my gloves haha
-
What shoe size are you?? Would love some for mine haha
-
It may seem strange but mine were some weird numbers like that as well. It was not consistent in the 3 axis.

The scaling process was a lot of trial and error for me. It wasn't a strict upsizing by percentage. I needed more height than girth. Some things were scaled slightly larger than others. Armorsmith will certainly help you. It takes a team to get me in there and it's at least a 45 minute ordeal haha. I haven't done it a ton so I am sure if I did it more we could get it done a bit faster. I need at least 2 other people to help me get in it. Single pieces would certainly be better. It has held up for the most part except for the front of the shorts, but that was due more to a bad print that had poor layer adhesion than the pieces together.

Yeah that 3rd one is Mike Hinton's daughter, she is small as well. Way closer to Anthony Daniels size than me haha He is a great dude and made me this shirt!

There aren't many out there period. You already found mine haha. It's certainly doable. It's not for the faint of heart. Movement and vision are very limited, but it sure looks badass ? No available "kits" fit bigger guys, but you have that 3d printer so you can size it up to fit you. Here I am out in the wild with an R2 (currently working on my BT-1 to complete the torture duo).

Looks awesome! Keep it up. I like the slight grey tone too. Mine is just jet black haha

Thanks! Yours is coming along great.

Well as has been pointed out I have seen it both ways. I choose to go silver just to break up the all black... I have seen it all black which looks good too. As far as I know you are good either way. Try both and see what you like better lol

Hey sorry I missed this.. The best files out there right now are actually on thingiverse. Look up Jesse_M. His C3PO files are great.

Lol mobility test...there is none Looking good, keep it up.

Essentially it is a C3P0 with different paint and eyes. There are some kits out there, but if you aren't the perfect Anthony Daniels size they require a tremendous amount of work. I went the 3D printer route. There are some great and mostly accurate files available for free. It takes a lot of finishing work but it pays off. You can take a look at my build thread and ask any questions you may have. TX-97491 000 build

Keep on rocking! Looking good.

I had the first wave of the Anovos and they didn't finish painting the teeth all the way to the end. So I tried to color match as best I could. I used Testors silver and gloss black. I just kept adding a little black to the silver and painting on some scrap black ABS to see if I could get the color to match the Anovos color. I think it turned out ok. But if you there isn't already something there, I personally like a darker silver, not too shiny. But as long as its within CRL you should be good.

tat2trooper anovos shadow trooper build

If they are still using the same belt I got, change that out for a better one that is reinforced. Only thing I would change on the helmets is to finish off the teeth, they don't paint the last one on each side, it annoys me lol -

I have the Anovos. With a few tweaks and upgrades it's pretty easy to get to specialist Good luck! -
I used e6000 to join the pieces. I then coated everything in XTC3d, its an epoxy that helps eliminate the print lines and strengthen the print. For the lenses I printed them in transparent red PETG and think they work well.

@Dishrack it seems that that you chest is already pretty tight on you as you can feel it when breathing, also keep in mind that you will be needing to do the abdomen (belly wrap with wires). The belly is going to be a certain amount of thickness. It its already tight I don't know how much more "girth" from the belly you would be able to fit in. Just something to think about.

I honestly didn't do too much to reinforce my seams. In some high stress areas I put some scrap abs strips. I printed mine in PETG with isn't as rigid as PLA and has a bit of flex to it. The only thing I have had an issue with was my shorts split, but that was because it was a bad print and had a week spot which I since fixed. The shorts are definitely a pain in the but. Mine are in 2 pieces that I strap together. I wanted to do a 1 piece, but my fat butt didn't cooperate. Also looking at the way you have your eye lenses setup is going to be real bad. As you say they are only a 10 mm opening and even when they are both lined up with your eyes it is still nearly impossible to see. I would look into changing that. Here is what mine are like:

Welcome Jon! The world needs more 000. Its definitely a challenge to print and get the sizing correct. I printed my entire 000 on a Prusa MK3 (bit over 8x8x8 print bed). Its a labor of love but well worth it. Let me know if you have any questions or need some help/advice.

I keep seeing this in my garage. I gotta get on it and finish it up.

A lot will depend on how it fits and what it looks like when you are wearing it. But over all it looks decent. I did not see boots in the pictures which you will need too.
