An update, I received an email from the Army-Navy store and apparently they shipped the wrong material (it was Cordura nylon instead of sateen), so you should have the correct material for your hat Shane.

Yep, I ordered some and when it arrived a few days ago it had a weird treated side to it. Certainly not the sateen material the old "pickle suits" were made of. It did remind me of the old sleeping bag cover material so it's no good for a cap.

Agreed, the Imperial Army Trooper never would have got off the ground without Sebastian and a few other members that supported it ( that would include you, Ben!)

David, I'd recommend getting a piece of surplus OG-107 sateen cloth and mailing it to him, you can buy it online from various surplus stores.

Yeah, it does look great. You should have no trouble getting approved.

One suggestion would be to blacken the buckles on your boots, otherwise looking good.

If it could be adapted to fit the old US Army Alice pack frame, that would be awesome. There are tons of old Alice pack frames out there.

Kerry, what Battalion patches are you referring to?

I think the artist used purple instead of black to make it easier to see the details of the uniform. My bet is that it's supposed to be black.

There has been some interest in Imperial Medics, and in the past they have shown up in various games and novels. Now that Medics have appeared on film in the new Solo movie, I believe we can get enough reference material to start an Imperial Medic CRL. Feel free to post photo images and other references here.

I think adding a Medic would make a lot of folks very happy.

A close match would be nice, but there were variations between the color of the hat vs the flight suit the comics so a standard color Officers hat from CosplaySky or Museum Replicas is acceptable.

Which tabs are we talking about? The one I remember seeing in the comics were too small to make out what was written on it.

Kerry, the lines on the brim of that hat are too close together. Here's an example:

I can't recommend any Vendors, but if you find one that custom makes them go online and do a search for OG 107 Sateen cloth, it should be a really close match. Make sure that the cloth isn't quarpel treated, that cloth won't work for clothing and hats.

I chatted via Facebook PM with Wampawear about the flightsuits, he was having troubles communicating with the overseas manufacturer . Once the surplus coveralls were found Wampawear was put on the back burner. But if he can examine a surplus coverall he might have a clearer idea on what we need, with a few mods.
