Nice! I wonder if all the remaining kits are back in service. That's 4 kits recovered from basements so far the last couple years (One made into a college mascot and rebuilt). The guy said there were only 10 of them made, huh? I thought there'd be at least 20, but seeing how there are less than 10 registered in the Legion at the moment that sounds right.

Well, I gave the nova a repaint to fix the repaint that got thrash at Freedom Fest (Didn't have enough time to dry) I probably won't pull this baby out until spring again, but once I have a camera, I'll try and get some shots of the new paint job.

Weapons aren't required for 501st approval, however multiple references for Shadow Scouts using E-11s have popped up recently, so I'd say you could back up carrying one. And if some one gives you greif, just handle it in true Spec Ops style: Walk away calmly and cut their break line.

They state, "The storm commandos, also known as Imperial commandos or shadow scouts, were elite members of a branch of the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps."
Yep, we've separated the Shadow Scouts fro Storm Commandos here, because the armor ranges from black scouts to brand new armor with scout-like parts. Shadow Scouts = Black Scouts, Storm Commandos = New specialized armor type. Un fortunately there has never been any really great references to build from, and the new GG statue kind of makes things even less clear.

Depending on how the helmet is sitting, you might be able to raise the helmet up slightly as well... ost likely however, it whole issue comes from the pauldron and the backpack. have you tried wearing the pauldron without the backpack to see if it lies down correctly with the helmet?
