  1. Im sure that there are more choices but have you checked out ImperialBoots.com http://www.imperialboots.com/product/killer-boots/
  2. Good luck on that Anovos wait. you should have seen our FB post about delayed shipments. would change your mind about them.
  3. Yeha seams its just their Classic TK boots that run tight. Now ive also gotten a pair of TFA TKs and those are fine using normal size. go figure.
  4. ive done imperial boots and are very nice and comfortable. looks like their shop re-opens in July if you can wait. They run a size tight so go up one half size http://www.imperialboots.com/product/black-stormtrooper-tk-boots/
  5. The Drop Boxes look to be longer too and the Bubble lenses.
  6. Anyone build a DLT-20A? if so, who did you use for the kit?
  7. Lol. I trimmed the bottom of my thigh armor just up to the trim strip. Seams ok but I need to do more as I can't sit down completely. Haha
  8. Hey Lance!!! Hows it going? I recall talking about it too. Take a look at the CRL for the TK http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt as Its easier to see since their armor is white. But notice on the rear shins its curved down around the knee and lower thighs the same. Also, do you have any room to spare to pull the Thigh armor plates up a smidge? if so a half inch can make the difference of you being able to sit down in the armor and back up without it binding / pinching. I recall hearing that you should be able to walk up a flight of stairs.
  9. Ive seen some SW figures shipping with what appears to be the DLT-20A Blaster Rifle, which i also believe was commonly used by Stormtroopers. Seen it in BattleFront too. Has this Blaster been brought up before as a possible CRL addition to the Shadow Scout and Shadow Stormtrooper as a optional blaster? Just curious.
  10. Thanks much Dorothy and Torri!!!! Now just have to make my way to the next SpecOps Celebration Event and Troop with yall!!
  11. Hey Michael, Welcome to SpecOps and your journey to becoming a TX!!!
  12. SICK PIC BRO!!!! Looks BAD A...!!!!! Michael - Most armors need a little polishing to get a fine gloss and an upkeep to maintain them that way. One manufacture sends theirs with a plastic protection film that you remove once your build is done. but that still needs TLC to get it as Shiny as Jeffs Armor. Fortunately there are good products that we use to shine ours up from Novos to McGuire's. Hope this helps.

  14. HA! theyll pinch your skin terribly. mind them well.
  15. I wanted approval without the Pauldron so the GMLs could see the suits shoulder strapping etc. Thanks Gents!!! Feels awesome to be a trooper with SpecOps!!! . Now an attempt to get Specialist approval ;0 hehe
  16. Excellent Choice on WTF Armor and Welcome to SpecOps!!
  17. Just got my approval this AM and Legion ID!!!! Thanks everyone for your tremendous Help, Suggestions and Support! Im ready to troop with you all as TX 19736 Phew,,,, what a journey
  18. So super quick on the shoulders. I had the same issue, reference my build, as the shoulders were too far out. When i shortened the Snaps from the bells to the Shoulder straps, i then had an issue with the shoulder straps pulling towards the bells. Solution - I had Custom New Shoulder Straps from Rob Kittell (http://imperialissue.com/) with Plastic inserts. These are flexible but rigid side to side. So then i was able to pull in the bells and keep everything straight. Hope this helps. Rear
  19. Congratulations!!! Great Job!!!! Do the TD Clips need to be painted black for basic or Specialist approval? if so will paint mine too. Andy
  20. Thanks Steve! Final Pics submitted to the GMLs today for approval. Figures Crossed
  21. By the way i just have to say that i Love Old Cars and I Love your Pics!!! Especially the one of you peeking from behind Vader!!! Hahaha! Love it! How tall are you btw? Im 6.1" and using Walts Kit too,, i found that i had to cut a small radius on the lower back quads to allow leg movement. You should be able to walk up stairs with no issues. Also it looks like your Calves road up a bit so were you hitting the shins while walking? I saw TK11157 make this post and i was going to try it out myself: http://www.whitearmo...shins-in-place/ For the Bucket tipping, i saw you have plenty of padding but maybe a chin strap is needed? Just my thoughts. Andy
  22. So i was waiting on my Darman Props Neck seal and it just came in and also finished off the DoopyDoos e11 blaster. Here it is, let me know your thoughts. Screws and bolts replaced with real ver. Blaster painted in Satin Black with Dry Brushed Silver tones while the Scope is painted in Satin Black with Brass Tones. Trigger is functional and cocking bolt / mechanism is home made and functional. Oh and i made the stand too ;0
  23. yeah velcro is approved as James noted. Just make sure you cant see it.
  24. Nick, update your signature with your Legion ID already ;0
  25. Nice!!! Bucket looks great! So what avail for Sound effect for the DT? since their voices are relatively scrambled? Andy
