I have been thinking about going swampy myself (that's pretty much your fault Darth!!! LOL). IMHO movie style looks better but that's just what I like the most.

This is AMAZING!!! I suppose the process takes a long time to "render" the model, is that true?

I agree with both, loose the strap and use some velcro to attach the pauldron (maybe the plastic strap that connects the back and chest, shoulder strap will be a good place to do that)
