If you're under a tight budget you can also check AM armor, It is not as accurate as SC or KS but it is a really good deal if you have the time to trim and adjust the kit. My wife was using an AM kit at CV.

If everyone so far used the same paint it will be better to stay in the same track, "gold color" is such a loose concept. I think, since all the Nova are new troopers, the best way to make all the armors look alike is to have the same color.

For your bodysuit the best choice is an Underarmor.

SC is great, my TB is an SC. But AM use to make scout kits in black ABS, (not sure he still does) Not as easy to put together as the SC (pre trimmed and finished) but if you have some skills using a dremmel it is not a problem to get an AM.

There are 2 options to do that (both pretty hard to achieve) neon/leds or glowsticks. The effect for the first one is far better and you don't need to replace every trooping but you need to wire your full armor, have batteries, etc

In fact PS3 and XBOX (not sure about PC) have "TRON troopers" it is almost impossible to re-create such effect. I did my Wii version for CV, let's say a regular TK/TX with a different paint scheme. (and a oversized head!!! That's why my FX bucket is "screen accurate" LOL!!!)
