  1. Thanks, I love my scout. If you want to "dull" the armor shine down, I think that'll be tricky. But, I basically just let mine go dull over time and wear and tear. It's got a nice satin sheen now, so no polish is used on it - ever.
  2. If you purchased the black ABS kit, then no painting is required. If not, you will definitely need to paint it up (satin of shiny). In that case, I'd paint the parts first. Also, no bondo is required for general clearance or Specialist approval. You can check out my WIP stuff here: http://forum.501stsp...__fromsearch__1
  3. Very impressive. You have some real skill and patience. I'm not gifted in that area! Nice work so far and can't wait to see the finished lid.
  4. I agree with Toddo, you have done an awesome job and should be very proud! I'm looking forward to seeing your "approved" status.
  5. Everything is coming together Gene!
  6. Nice work Dizzy...! This is going to be a cool helmet for sure.
  7. Great work and glad to see Mel all suited up. Craig would be super proud of you both!
  8. Congrats and good to have you with us!

  10. Very nice Toddo. It's too bad this one belongs to the SP. Would love to have him with us.
  11. And works for guitar players too!
  12. That's pretty cool. Did anyone ask or get your permission?
  13. You are almost there! Just let your GML know the digits you want. If available, you should be able to lock them down.
  14. Yep, that was also mentioned. She should follow whatever Robert/GML told her to adjust.
  15. I caught the approval pic post on the Legion site. You have done a really nice job. I would do a body shot of the left side (holster) and a full front shot. It should be an easy approval after that...
  16. Agreed, but it was so worth it!
  17. Agreed. Ultimately, the boxes should hang roughly 1.5" to 2.5" from the belt.
  18. Hang in there Torri, you have done a great job!
